Hey SFers, do you still wear your BKC to the store if you’re visiting alone? I’m concerned about the safety in union square unfortunately
Don't have BKC but was in the area during weekday. While it's not as busy like pre-pandemic times, there's definitely more police and private security presence. Around Tiffany's or Apple there was SFPD mobile unit:shocked:. Felt a bit safer but to each their own.

I’ve honestly never had any issues around Union Square. I’m there quite frequently, almost always parking in the Union Square garage. I read these fearful posts on here all the time, but I just don’t feel it. Sure, there are some homeless people around but I’ve never had any interactions with them. I think I probably project a fairly confident and purposeful demeanor, but no one ever approaches or bothers me. And I doubt that anyone that could bother me would know or care what handbag I’m carrying!

I sent a screenshot of a necklace to my SA. She was able to order it for me and I paid it via a link. You don't need to be physically at the boutique in order for your SA to place an online order for you.
Yes, I do the same. SA sends me a link, I pay, she gets the credit for selling me that item, and it gets delivered to my place. SA said though that the only exceptions are bags and wallets. She said that I will have to collect them from the boutique.....which I happily do!

Does first purchase have to happen in-store to be assigned an SA? (i.e. can I just contact an SA via referral and purchase via phone?)
There is a beautiful scarf online, and I would love to embark on an Hermes journey, but it's a bit challenging with a 10 months old atm :)

Another q for all the SF clients.. anyone ever go to the store (booked appt) and walk out empty handed?
Hi! Answering two questions, one for an early thread re: bringing the box in the area out of concerns for safety and if I walk in for an appt and walk out empty handed I was at the store today, met with my SA to pick up some twilys for my new baby (B30), brought the said baby with me, I work in the financial district and drive to work (for now). Felt a bit weird to drive the 5 blocks (and paying double parking) so I decided I’ll try to take the muni, maybe its me but it felt even more weird taking public transport, ha! Anyways, I walked in to my appt, catch up with my SA, got my twilys, giggled a lot, groaned at my lack of luck getting a bottle of the Etoupe nail polish, tried a cdc that my SA has been saving for me, then I found the best summer tee dress on level 2. I argued that it might be a tad small for me but my SA urged me to walk to the dressing room and see for myself, I walked out telling her that I hate that she’s right. Needless to say, today’s ‘twilys only’ appt went beyond what I planned so it’s one of those days where I walked out of the store with a bit more than I expected, which is something given the lack of inventory these days.
as for the safety, there’s a bit more life in downtown these days and definitely a lot more police presence. Safe enough that I decided to walk the 5 or so blocks from the store and back to my office at The Embarcadero and enjoy the crisp sunny day.
Lastly to add, My SA is efficient enough to tell me if there’s inventory on a specific item that I’m looking for before I decide to make an appt so as to not waste time but there are definitely some appts where I walked out without the discreet white bag. I hope this helps!

PS.: saw a few ladies toting their arm candies (Bs and Ks).Not much on the bag displays today.

Was there any kind of inventory that was worthwhile today? I haven’t been since the heritage event but I’m still hoping for a picotin, evie TPM, wallet of some sort, or my size in some of the latest oasis colors. It does feel like they are low on items all the time. However, I am one of those that has always walked out with something every trip…

Relatively new to TPF here but have been following and silently reading this thread for a while!

On the discussion about safety, I actually too went in the store today initially to pick up a cardigan. But my SA did not inform me that she had the pillows I wanted a month back ready for me. So I ended up walking with 2 huge white bags all the way to the 5th and mission parking garage (I know quite far, had some work related stuff in the area). I didn't feel that unsafe and I saw police patrolling the streets. So I would say just be aware of your surroundings then you should be fine.

As for inventory today, I didn't see much on the displays. I had asked if they had any card holders/wallets and my SA opened each drawer for me and they were mostly empty except the exotic leathers (no surprise there)

It's touch and go as with the inventory. Definitely ask your SA for the popular ones like Picotins in hard to get combos and definitely the TPM. not much on the leather goods -- mostly oversized bolide and some 24/24 bags, SLG inventory is pretty sad imo. was lucky enough that they had the twilys that i wanted. they also dont display most of their stuff because i thought they didn't have any CDC's, they had the small collier and maybe a pink croc cdc in palladium on display, but for some reason they didnt have the good combos on display until my SA told me they have some in the back (box calf/gold hardware) and that she's been saving one for me. Upstairs, there seems to be more life in the homeware, they had blankets and a few pillows, a bit more on the RTW which was a surprise and a treat for me with the 'Cliquitis' line (looks like Brides de gala has gone haha) and I just cant get enough of the black and white combo. it also looked like they have some, if not plenty on the shoe department as well. they have flats and heeled loafers as well as sandals. I almost added a pair gold/gold collete but alas, it looks like i have to size down on that as my usual size was too big.
