I visited the store last Saturday. The stock seems to be extremely low. They put the huge bolide and huge herbag on display. These were usually tucked away in the men's section upstairs. I asked my SA about the shipment. She told me that they have shipments coming in, but she doesn't know when.
Any one got bag offer lately? I was hoping to get my second quote bag before the holidays, now I don't know if it's gona happen.
In various threads (especially NYC) there's been discussion to the effect of "no bag shipments" until next year that has been echoed. I would say maybe you'll get extremely lucky but statistically would say it is probably better to be patient and focus on H1 2022.

The store seems low stock on everything as you and the past posts have mentioned. You should wait for next year. If you already got your first quota bag this year already, consider yourself lucky!

Maybe there's a chance if you want to buy ostrich? These aren't quota bags but popular bags - I saw someone being offered a Kelly Pochette in a light grey ostrich last last Friday. That's the first and last time I've seen anyone being offered anything remotely Kelly/Birkin bags in the last few months when I've visited the store. I saw someone being offered mini roulis ostrich in some bright pink that same day. On another visit, I've seen people buy multiple RTW, watches, and jewelry in the same visit and not seeing them walk away with any bags (pretty sure they spent well over 15K in one visit). I haven't read of any offers in this SF thread either or heard of any offers online with the exception of some large birkins (but this was over 3 months ago)

Definitely chamonix! I think a similar bag sold not long ago on eBay for around $6K, so definitely a terrific price. If I didn’t already own it, I would have already nabbed it!

quota bags are still trickling in…it’s the other stuff that they’re not getting shipments of (non quota leather bags). hence the bare shelves. contrary to whats been said, they're still getting B&Ks for the holidays. I just picked up my second quota bag and was given several other colors to choose from but went with the first bc those were the exact specs I had asked for. from what I understand, there's just not as many quota bags to go around (compared to years past) so not everyone will have a chance to get their quota for the year.

Hello first time posting here. Will be visiting the sf store in a few days. How do you ensure your safety to/from the store? Where is the best place to park? I am getting a little worried after hearing another robbery/stabbing in the broad daylight.

Congratulations! Do you mind sharing what the offers were? Trying to see if anything I am looking for is being offered… :)
Thank you!

I usually park at the White House Garage next to BR. There are like 4 street parking spots that is not a loading zone (2 spots to the right of H, or right across the street from H, in front of Goyard, but it’s almost impossible to grab those spots).
How do you feel about shipping your items to your house? I used to live in SF, and my SA will give me the white shopping bag in lieu of the orange bag when I go with my husband, but with covid, I shop in store and have the items shipped to me (FedEx).
Maybe I’m extra cautious, but I also don’t bring any B or K and will bring a Picotine or an Evelyne.
I hope it gets better soon, stay safe!

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I don’t mind shipping to my house at all! Sounds like a great solution. I really hope the situation will get better soon.

Hi! i just started my journey today at the SF store. My SA seems very nice and I like her a lot. We did create my wishlist of getting a birkin but she didn’t say much except that they’re in high demand and may take some time. I made a few purchases today as well. What are you tips and advice in scoring a quota bag? I plan on making one or two more trips before the end of the year since I saw a few things that I like already. Do I bring up my wishlist again at the next visit or follow up via texting. I don’t want to sound too pushy :(

Hi all,

can some one please share a good SA at San Francisco boutique. My dream bag is a Kelly 28 gold on gold. I heard that SF is very competitive and will not care for customers unless you drop thousands every time you go. To be honest I am intimidated to start this journey even though I really like some of their pieces and ofcourse the bag. A good SA recommendation will really help. This is my third time asking this question in this thread, no response before. May be third time is the charm!! Thanks a lot in advance.

Hello,

I believe SF is very competitive and from what I've seen at the store, yes, there are some serious ballers in the bay area.

I wanted to let you know that I was also intimidated to start the journey. This is just my personal humble opinion, but I don't share my SA recommendation because I don't know you, not sure how my SA would feel about connecting a fellow TPFer but a stranger none the less. I think my SA is wonderful, but she may not be the right person for you, I've only made one recommendation of my SA in person (pre covid), which is to my best friend of 20 years. But even then, she and my SA didn't click, my friend made her own relationship with a different SA at the Palo Alto store.

I honestly believe that you should book an appointment with any SA that is available and start your journey there. You mentioned that you are interested in some of their pieces, and eventually a bag. I think starting the shopping experience is the first step. Once you create your profile at the store, they'll be able to see your purchase history.

I can't recall all of the SA's I've gone through to find my current one, I honestly thought she was the only one that I've ever shopped with, but organizing my office and going through the receipt cards, I realized I have 4-5 different business cards from the same SF store. The 4-5 different SAs treated me well, I shopped for the items I was interested in. It started with SLG, shoes, bracelets, scarves, belts, eventually bags and others with my current SA. One started a wish list for me early on, but never reached out when new items came in.

I didn't drop ridiculous amount of money before meeting my SA. After meeting her, that's another story.

Best wishes and happy to chat further via here or PM!
