I just wanted to say that I love the SF store. I just scored my 2nd Birkin yesterday from there a 35 Etoupe PHW :happydance::party:. I have had nothing but great customer service everytime I have gone there. All the SA I have seen there are always friendly to me. I actually have only been to SF store a few times I got my 1st Birkin last March a Black 35 PHW . I have 2 different SA I have worked with there the 1st one left the company and now my current SA who all I can say about her is she is the best SA I have ever worked or dealt with any shopping experience anywhere. I have never had either SA play games with me or have I had to drop lots of $ to be offered a Birkin the truth is I have only bought 2 Birkins from SF that's the only thing that I own from Hermes so I have never seen or experienced the games people say SF store plays. My SA has offered me 2 different Birkins within the last 2 weeks the 1st one I passed on and the 2nd I got yesterday (Friday) my 35 Etoupe. So in my experience SF is a great store.I also wanted to thank my angel :hugs: who helped me get my dream Birkins she knows who she is on this forum thank you for coming out to SF yesterday it was great having you there when I opened the big orange box. Thanks again you are the best. So I just wanted to say SF is great store. Sorry to all that have had bad experiences there but that's where I got my 2 dream Birkins from. So I wish all of you luck in SF store there is some wonderful SA there.
Hi! I know this is an old post - would it be possible to share your SA info. I’ll send you a pm as well. Hopefully that’s okay :)

Hi all - I made a request for a Saturday appointment late last week and I’ve yet to receive confirmation by email or text. Anyone have experience with the online appointment system for this store? I figure it’s still early in the week but I would like to know sooner rather than later if I need to plan a drive into the city this weekend. Thanks

Hi everyone!
okay so I’ve decided to give SF store a try over PA. I’ve started reading this thread from page 1. It’s so fun and interesting to see how others got their dream bags and the relationships they gain with their SAs. Someone mentioned that buy what you’ll love and enjoy the process and that just really made sense to me so I am going to just enjoy this journey and when the time is right, I’ll get my dream birkin :)
Now I just need to pick an SA that I can work with. I was able to get two SA names from others. May I ask if any of you know a wonderful, honest and responsive SA at the SF that you would be willing to share with me or know of names that have come up and is known to be amazing and caring?? :)

Thank you all again!

Does anyone have any advice here — I work with an SA but I have to message him twice to get responses. Is this cause the SA is busy/ this is normal or I should try to find a new SA?? I’ve spent a lot with him to build a relationship and not sure if I’m investing in the right SA for me.

Hi all,

first of all thank you so much for taking the time for sharing your expert opinions and experiences. It certainly benefits for new Hermès lovers like me. I am very new to the Hermès world, own a couple of Chanel bags but simply love the aesthetics and craftsmanship of Birkin (which I saw at a party). I also believe in having only a few things which that I will use all the time, and then pass on to my kids. I brought one cashmere scarf from Hermès San Diego when we visit there for my wedding anniversary. I live in Bay Area and can go to both Palo Alto and SF stores.
I would be thankful if you one of you can pass on information for an SA. I am not the one to spend too much on footwear or RTW but like a couple of fine jewelry from the brand. What is the ratio for SF store to get a Birkin or Kelly? I am also wondering if I should go the pre loved route? How ever I do love the experience of purchasing from the boutique. Any recommendation of a good SA and ratio will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

Very likely your SA is busy. I think all the SAs are busy tbh.

Answering messages, taking pictures, looking up items to order or transfer from other places, grabbing items to mail out, setting up online payments and also seeing customers in person with appointments usually being fully/mostly booked is a lot do to in a work day.

I imagine they do much more than this. But it already sounds really tiring from just me writing it out.

Hello- curious to know if anyone, who’s fairly new to H journey, got a quota bag recently.

I‘m on my journey since March. I just came back from my 3rd appointment today and this visit gave me more uncertainty (due to low inventory, high competition, many VVIPs, etc). My SA looked OVERWHELMED with back to back (even double booking) appointments and he was in hurry to wrap up my shopping today… from this I felt like I have almost no chance here…?

I love other Hermès products so I am enjoying this journey, but sometimes I want some assurance that one day in near future I will get B/K  Ya know.

Hi, I also started my journey around the same time as you (Feb 2021) and I have mentioned 2 items on my "wishlist" which is a Kelly 28 or Constance 24 in GHW and neutral classic colors. I just received the offer for a Constance Etoupe 24 few days ago. So yes, you'll get something!! I have to say though, although my SA is very nice and the client service has been good, I feel like things (meaning our relationship) didn't get more serious until I purchased non-bags and bought a watch. Make sure you're spending in the right categories too.

Congrats!!! May I ask how much your spend was prior to the offer?

Hi. I'm new to the forum and I must say, I enjoy your insights and perspective, especially about the local stores. I began my campaign (to me, it feels more like a campaign rather than a journey haha) for an offer at the start of the year, prior to that, I only went to the store to pick up small items, but I have worked with the same SA, who, from the very beginning, told me that best way to get an offer was to establish a relationship with the store and to be patient. That sort of stuck to me and it prevented me from going to Palo Alto (plus the PA store gave me really bad vibes). Initially, my plan was to wait till I hit the big 4-0 but COVID circumstances made me go crazy change that timeline to as soon as I get the offer. When I told my SA that I'd like to be considered or be added to the imaginary list ideally for this year, my SA told me that with the current events (COVID) inventory is a bit tough but that she would try for me. I ramped up my visits to the store since, purchased a few more items (bags, shoes, rtw, bit of cosmetics and fine jewelry) and with some patience (I struggled with this the most lol), wish items started coming, most recent is a TPM in neutral color (I was told late last year that there's a 2 year waiting list for the TPM in either gold and etoupe, so i was really surprised when my SA offered one to me a few weeks after I asked her if it's hard to order one), I was told by a friend who knows someone who used to work at the H store in Guam, that they only offer hot items to customers with good purchase history, not sure if there's any truth to that (awesome if it is) and now my SA is hinting, that she might have something special for me next time I visit, the hint might be a C24, which brings me to my question: does your SA give hints before they actually make an offer?

I had zero hint and it was a completely unexpected surprise!!
Congrats!!! May I ask how much your spend was prior to the offer?
I think my spend on non-bags/SLG was pretty close to 2:1 ! My SA did say that neutral/classic colors is harder to come by so he was holding out for this vs. others that have came through that he didn't think I be too excited about. I am not sure what those other colors would have been and if I might have been okay with it or not. That implies to me that if you're open to more colors/less specifications then perhaps the purse would come faster or the spend can be lower?

I also received a black mini evelyn in gold hardware (my exact specification requests) after I bought my cape cod watch. I really do feel jewelry, watches, RTW gives the SA extra motivation to look out for you :P Having said that, when i was going through my purchases I didn't really have this mentality as I am honestly a BIG jewelry and outerwear person so the spend in those categories came pretty natural for me.
