Just started my Hermes journey with my SA Barbara, hopefully she offers me a bag near my birthday(near the end of the year). Really want to make it special this year hehe. My dream bag would be a Birkin 25 or 30 togo GHW in gold or black. Does anyone know if SF Hermes store get shipment often? I did also order a Avalon blanket with her but its been a month. Does anyone have a estimated time on when it should arrive?!

My SA has told me on multiple occasions that inventory is low at the moment due to the pandemic/lockdown in Paris. There have been less shipments and even delayed shipments (back in January when I had inquired about some scarves). Since you're looking at the end of the year to purchase a bag it'll give you time to build a relationship with your SA. From my experience, there's usually a good amount of bags being offered at the end of the year but it can get competitive since a lot of people do their holiday shopping around that time.

I don't have an estimated time on the Avalon blanket but my SA did mention that it's completely sold out and a really hot item at the moment. If you were able to order one then I don't see it taking too long since they're slowly getting new shipments! Happy shopping!

Thank you so much for this info! So helpful!

I want to start my H journey after thinking about it for few years. BUT, oh boy, why is it so hard to make an appointment at the SF location? I’ve been calling them for 3 days from 10am and no one picked it up :(. Left a voice messages but not sure if I will ever get a call back. Any newbie here recently got an appointment? How long did you take to get the appointment? Any insights will be greatly appreciated!

omg just got a call back! I am going in next Wednesday and Paul has been assigned as my SA. Has anyone worked with Paul? Omg I am so excited

I'm also going in Wednesday. The SAs recently went back 5 days a week, so I'm sure they are still trying to catch up with their regular customers and filling orders to send out. It's been very labor intensive for them to search for all the requested items, especially since all the other stores had been on reduced staff. Paul isn't my SA, but he's lovely and we always chat for a moment when I go in.

I hope this is not a ridiculous question but will the Hermès SF store accept a Birkin bag (from a secondary seller) for spa services? I don’t have a receipt.

(I am intimidated to go there even though I live only 15 minutes away from SF lol.)

I would like to start buying from the Hermès SF store but I feel a little embarrassed with a Birkin that although authentic, was not purchased directly through a Hermès store:blush:

Thanks in advance. :flowers:

They might, but I'd recommend you establish some kind of relationship with the store before you randomly walk-in and ask for spa services as a more thoughtful approach. The people at the SF store are generally very nice and accommodating, from my experience..

I feel less intimidated after your post and I will call to make an appointment.

I am ready to start my H journey in the SF store (even though I bought a Birkin from a secondary seller because I was too impatient:blush:)

I want to get to know Hermes better

Hello, I have been purchasing at Hermès SF store since 11 years ago. But I do not have my own SA, every time I just use random SAs. Now I’m interested in mini Lindy and kelly25. I went to SF store last week and the assigned a new SA. I bought a Lindy 26 and a wallet. I mentioned to SA about my wishlist. My question is that will my 11-year purchase history make a difference or do I have to start from scratch with the new SA?

Please update us on your experience! I am facing the same issue here. My local store wants to send my bag to Paris, which will take way longer than having it repaired in-house in the States because of the pandemic. So I decided to personally drop off the bag at the SF hermes, but I don't know any SAs at this store. : (

Hello! Has anyone sent a bag to hermes spa in SF after the pandemic? What is the process like? Were you able to meet with Dominique in person?

I am thinking of dropping off a vintage kelly with them when I visit SF

I just got my bag back Monday after dropping it off about two weeks ago...I got to meet Dominique briefly as I brought in a rare bag and he popped out for a moment to discuss it.

I think the store is still by appointment only, so call and schedule ahead, and let them specifically know you want to drop off a bag for Spa so they’re sure to set aside the time =)
