Yes, thank you. I did call they said everything is right, but that number seems a little on the low side to me, but it doesn't matter what it seems to me, lol. And yes, your right it does come out in the early part of the year. I was confused because I made this purchase right after i got my my card for the year before. Oh well, I better get shopping to bounce those points up. I don't understand why my husband doesn't get the concept that you have to spend money to get "free stuff". I live with all men and they keep trying to tell me that when I'm getting a good bargain I'm still spending a lot of money. What buzz kills. We should meet up soon, you're probably more fun to shop with!

Buzz kills.. I love it!! I'll meet up and shop with you anytime, Jujuma! I'm overdue for a trip North, actually..

Trip north....hummmmm. I wonder if you live near where I may be moving? It's tough cuz then I'll have to give up "my" mall! But I really really am ready for a change. Any time you're planning a trip up north just PM me and we can pick a day, fun!

Hey ...how does this work ..is this with any saks card...or is the mpa..a different card or program ..I want to buy a bag but I'm not sure how this even works ...thanks in advance
You need to first have a regular Saks card and can then apply for the MPA. If you have a SA whom you work with, he/her should be able to help you with getting either account but to get a MPA you need to already have a Saks card.

I don't know how often it happens. There was one a few weeks ago when I tried to get my boy. Apparently there's one right now so I would assume they do it quite frequently? If anyone has more info on this please let us know.

Yes, it applies to Chanel. I think it's one of the reasons people use it - to get Chanel since any Chanel purchase will probably put you over the MPA minimum and it's nice to not have to pay interest and split payment in months.

Can anyone help me, please? I'd like to get a beige m/l with Saks first to get 10% off. As far as I understood from this thread is that there'll be annual %. Is it really worth it? Or I can upgrade to MPA for 0%, but then I'll not receive 10% off. TIA

10% off first purchase on a new Saks First account, not MPA account; it is worth it if you pay the whole amount in one lump first payment. Hth

I used the 10% and I saved $700, so it was well worth it. But yes you need to pay it off by the end of the month.

Thank you ladies! It makes sense now, because I wondered how people saved $, if the APR is so high. I don't mind paying it off immediately:)

My SA was able to get me triple points + the 10% off on my MPA.

This is how it worked:

1) Opened a Saks card online and DIDNOT use the card
2) Went to Saks store and opened MPA
3) Gave my SA the MPA & Saks account and she was able to ring up my bags on the triple points day with the opening card discount. SA told me that they need manager approval but, can do 10% for MPA.
