I don't think it's harder to order it, but I definitely see less of it on the shelves, especially on bags. My tricolor Kelly has ruthenium hardware. Here's what it looks like--The link is a picture of the whole bag (partially cut off because my class picture is right behind the left side of the bag, and I wanted to protect the privacy of the people in it:shame: ), and picture #2 is a closeup of the turnlock-thingy (sorry, forgot the name of it:shame: ). Ruthenium sorta looks like a dark palladium with a blackish tint.

I like ruthenium alot, having had gold and pall. hw. for a while, the ruthenium was a nice and wellcome change... give the bags a "edge", and looks kind of "cool" if I may use that terminology:shame:

I LOVE Ruthenium hardware.....especially on black Box....love that "edge" too, AVA!!!!
