Just found this thread as I was looking for more information about any issues others have had.
I ordered a Waterford vase from them a few weeks ago. Shipping was very slow. Once I received it, it was not the color as depicted on the site, and I proceeded to try to get the return process going. My order information under "returns" on the site indicates I have no returnable items!
1. My emailed order confirmation does not indicate it is final sale.
2. My packing slip has return information (fill in reason for return here, etc). It does not indicate anywhere that this is a Final Sale item.
3. Their website indicates a Final Sale item would be indicated as such on the packing list.
4. There is no way to see the item online, it is no longer available. However, as a rule, I do not order "final sale" items online for the very reason that I could be stuck with something I don't like (the exception is an item I already own and I am purchasing a duplicate of it).
I emailed them explaining that all indications are that this is returnable (except where I try to get a return label). Their response? "We're so sorry for the confusion if the packing list didn't say Final Sale." :censor:
That's it. Not happy. I emailed them again scanned copies of everything and if they don't come back by CoB today with a return label the next step is to contact the CC company with the same information.
They could make me very happy and keep me as a customer where I would spend $$ vs. other sites, or they could stand firm and lose me as a customer, not to mention word-of-mouth recommendations. I'm about to find out where their priorities are.
Not so likely to shop with them again.....
