Ugh, this is such a bad move on their part. They need to keep some staple styles around, and not just have a constantly discounted rotation of things.
I've been waiting to bite on the Oxblood Rogue with the suede sides and whipstitched handles, so I guess I'll grab one now, especially with a great cashback percentage today.

Thank you for this information! I called on Friday just after seeing your post, and they had the chalk with rivets! They had one left and it was still mostly wrapped. I was able to run in and pick it up before my trip. They even honored the extra 20% off.
I'm so glad they did because it was already marked sold out online. Maybe it will show up later on fos for a better price, but I wasn't going to risk it. 50/20 is good enough for me. 
Even DH loved this bag!

I’m going to get one as well. I will probably only keep either the Beechwood or this one but I’ll wait to see them in person. At 15% cashback the savings are compelling.
I have a few light bags but they are all variants of whilte: Chalk Rogue, Chalk Tea Rose Dinky, Neverfull MM in Damier Azur and Pochette Accessoires in Damier Azur. They all serve different purposes and I use them all in the summer. The Beechwood Rogue would be my only beige bag, and I wear a lot of warm tones. I like the wine lining - makes it feel all season.
I have no Oxblood bags and I adore the suede colour, so the Oxblood Whipstitch would also be a good addition. I also have no suede in my collection. However, I have the Prussian Blue/Black Whipstitch Rogue which is also a colour block Rogue (probably my favourite) and I’ve also just added the Black Rogue (will be a basic office bag since the Laural is driving me crazy and about to be retired). I also have a Mon Mono Neverful with Bordeaux accents, a Damier Ebene Neverfull and a Damier Ebene Speedy. So while I adore the Oxblood/Butterscotch,
maybe I have enough dark neutrals. I have the Steel Blue Rogue with wine lining too - I love that shade.
But retired and 15% cashback and unlikely to replicate quality at this price again. Still, I have only so much space and was completely happy with my bag collection until i heard these were being retired.

Honestly, both Rogues sound like they would be different from what you already have! Maybe you should keep both. You're right, the quality can't be matched at this sale price point.
With the black it’s 3 - and I already have 6 Rogues.
Unless I don’t love one I may just keep them all; they’re less than the price of a Speedy together. My Rogue 36 is really used as a travel bag and the Tea Rose 25s are different too. I love them too.
This is my exact dilemma. The likelihood that bags of this quality will be replicated at this price point is extremely low, considering Coach's current direction. My better half gave me the go-ahead to stock up, but I also want to be mindful of what I really like and will use. Decisions.

I do agree that Coach’s current direct is going to drop the quality to make the bag that’s high demanded at current market, which means a lot of their bag is going look a lot alike high-end brand “it” bags.
It’s already started shifting, the latest IT bag “Riley” top handle looks exactly similar to LV dauphine, and it started using cloth lining instead of lather lining, the cloth is thinner than the ones used on 1941 bags. I can see material quality drop on the latest patch of rogue as well. It’s sad.
If the rogue truly gets discontinued I think it will be likely for me to move away from the brand a bit, this was their flagship bag for the last few years and I think it would be a shame to completely end this style, I hope it lives on in some form even if it is more limited.
It seems like it has been very over saturated lately in store but I never really see girls carrying coach rocking a rogue I think that is because the price range is higher end and they are doing better with the mid-tier pricing on other styles also with steep discounts. Us rouge people will continue to use our bags way after the logo frenzy ends, this bag will live on in some form I am sure or will make a resurgence down the line. the quality we have now is unmatched for the price point.
Stock up now I guess and we will see what comes down the line. hopefully, there is still hope for the rouge living on!

I heard the made to order (MTO) rogue will remain. Hopefully that is true. If so, down the rode, rogue won’t have any discount on it. In fact, if they discounted massive producing rogue just because they want to offer the exclusivities to MTO rogues, then it’s a great move!

It is true. I stopped in the Coach boutique store tonight to buy a Rogue 25 before the end of the current sale. The SA said the Rogue is discontinued and once the inventory is gone that’s it. Today is my lucky day, though. I have been wanting the Chalk/Brass Rogue 25 but it is sold out. While I was in the store considering another color I commented that I really wanted the Chalk/Brass Rogue 25. The SA said she could check the computer to see if it could still be ordered. No. But, she then said it showed she had one in stock. I could not believe it. She went in the back and brought out a brand new unwrapped Chalk/Brass Rogue 25! She said I probably got one of the last ones. Today is my birthday - Happy Birthday to me!
