I loved my denim Rogue 36, so I splurged on the heather grey one as well. These bags are so useful and practical. I don't have to carry a laptop bag, lunch bag, or backpack anymore and I love not looking like I am running away from home when I go to work each day

I need grey. I have Dark denim. Blk. Saddle and olive

just got a friend one. 70 off
I paid a bit more than that somewhere between 60 and 65% off when all the arbitrary pricing and coupons were figured in on the website lol. I paid under $500 though so I thought they both were a bargain. These rogues really do have the quality of a $1,300 bag in my opinion (full price). I love both the Rogues and am very happy with them. My denim one had handles, zippers and everything still wrapped and had clearly come from the warehouse. The grey one, although in perfect condition, had the price tag on the inside zip pocket, and had paper filler only on the inside of the purse (handles and zippers were not wrapped) so I am assuming that came from a store.

Okay, I’ve waited a long time to post this because I really wanted to fully form my opinion. So I have a plain black Rogue 25 with the black copper hardware. Got it at a deep discount through a department store last year before Coach announced the discontinuation of the Rogue. I thought it was the perfect black day bag and the perfect size for me. I thought I loved it.
After using the bag....I have very different opinions. In fact, I can’t understand the obsession with this bag at all. After 3 weeks the hang tag broke and was lost. It would never even stay on the outside of the bag because of its placement; it fell in. In fact I found the broken chain on the inside. The top handles on the bag do not fit well tucked into the bag when the shoulder straps are worn. They bulge at the side pockets, warping the the pocket leather. They also look awful tucked it. They don’t stay up when wearing the bag on the shoulder. The shoulder straps fall off my shoulder and never stay put. I would remove the top handles (if I could) but it would then ruin the look of the bag entirely. Really, this bag isn’t actually that functional and since the handles flop everywhere, it isn’t that pretty either. I actually have no idea why everyone raves about this bag. I am soooooooooo glad i only own one. The dreamer is 100% more functional than this bag and prettier (if not as classic). I will use this through the season but likely it will not stay in my permanent collection. It looks pretty on a shelf but I actually use my things....hard. On purpose. Otherwise I have no need of them. I will keep looking for a better black staple bag.

I understand your frustration with the bag. I can empathize with a lot of your comments. I have multiple regular sized rogues and feel it is slightly too small and wish it was in between the regular and 36 size. The 36 works better as far as a shoulder bag for me. I find the handles awkward on every size, too, and think it works best hand carried. I often sling it up on my shoulder via the shoulder straps or put the handles in the crook of my arm. I seriously need to rethink this bag for my needs, too. I love the leather and suede though.

I'm sorry you are having problems with your Rogue. I have the regular size Rogue and love the bag. I use both the handles and the double shoulder straps depending on what I am carrying. I don't have any problems with either. I don't tuck the handles all the way in the sides I lay them across each on the top of the bag, if that makes sense, when I am using the shoulder straps. I love the quality of the leather and consider my 9 Rogues my go to bags.

I don't have any concerns with the rogue 25's I have. Mine stays on my shoulder and the handle fall in place on the top of the bag so no need to tuck in. I also have the regular size and seem to not have any issues. Sometimes the tag can be a pain because it turns around but no issue with mine falling off. Also I am a bit gentle on bags but high usage. I also wonder if different body size frames may impact how the bag wears on a person. I am short with a medium frame so the 25 lays well on me. I have several 2nd and two 3rd generation bags. Many say the leather on the 3rd generation is thinner but no issue for me. Wish you the best in finding a bag that fits you! Very annoying when you can't enjoy your purchase. I probably would have returned the bag (or gone to coach retail repair) if i was as frustrated as you were in the first 3 weeks of purchase.
