If the F is the first letter in the second series of numbers, it is MFF( made for factory). From your description, the bag you purchased sounds MFF.
It does have the f there. It looks and feels exactly the same as the boutique version but they are selling it as a transfer item not a factory version. Are there factory rogues?

I was told recently there would be Rogues made for the outlet. But that they were not "factory" bags. Not sure what that means. I guess it all comes down to if you are happy with what you purchase at the price point you pay.

Interesting that it has all the markings of a mff bag, but is being discounted like a boutique bag. I know my outlet excludes boutique bags from most promotions - meaning if the store is 70% off, boutique bags are only 50-60% off (and half the time they hide deletes in the back.) This being sold as boutique with mff marking is a hard pass for me. I'd rather the 50/20 from SAS with a factory fresh gift boxed bag delivered to my door than dealing with the outlets.

MFF ROGUE UPDATE!

Went to my outlet today and couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a black rogue 17 in the front of the store! Opened it up and what do you know it had an F on the creed! The style number is F22978. I’ve never held a full price 17 so I can’t do a direct comparison, I’d say it looked similar quality to my other Rogues but the leather felt a bit more plastic-y?

And one of the SA mentioned to me they were getting their own MFF Rogues and she brought out 2 to show me. I couldn’t get a good pic, sorry they were kind of stalking me so I messed up and only got the side of the bag lol It is a Rogue Shoulder Bag in Midnight Navy with gray suede interior. Bottom of the bag had the pebbled glovetanned leather stamp. Although like the 17 leather felt not as nice as my full price Rogues. The hardware and suede appeared to be like the full price versions. It was very lightweight. She also brought out a heather gray caviar leather (?) version. It had the C chain details on the straps and oxblood smooth leather side pockets. They had the canvas interior with zipper pocket and snap pocket. Sorry did not get a pic of that one. I didn’t get a pic of either price tag but price was $595 I believe, I’m guessing they’ll be half off at first?

It was dark and I didn’t want to fondle them too long haha but they felt like an in between MFF and full price bag. It will be interesting to see if they do any rogue 30s. I’m guessing the shoulder bags are just easier and cheaper to produce. View attachment 4322466View attachment 4322467View attachment 4322468View attachment 4322469
I still think these Rogue shoulder bags could be the international versions and are being sent to the outlets. Farfetch.com had the grey one you described and selfridges.com had the midnight navy. I know I saw the midnight navy on some of the international Coach sites an knew there was a grey version because my SA sent me pic a long time ago when she went to Vegas.

The shoulder bags do have an F in the creed. Maybe they had a ton extra of the leather colors and decided to make some and slap an F creed on? Time will tell if we see more styles like this!

We did see this recently with the market totes and another bag I can’t remember the name of [emoji23] Satchel with a dowel and flap turn lock, they then modeled the MFF Faye style after it.

I don't understand why they hide the deletes and you have to know to ask! Don't they want to SELL????!!! Coach seriously is tiresome to deal with...why do we continue to support them?? I need to do a serious talking to myself!

My outlet seems to “hide” them also. Every time I go in I want to say “Do you even know what I’m capable of?!” [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I am weak and like to buy pretty bags just show them to me already lol

I was told once that they didn't have room on the shelves for them all. Not sure if it's true or if it has something to do with the amount of resellers that go to my outlet. It's annoying, but I guess they are an outlet so want to push outlet items. My outlet is annoying in general because they impose quantity limits on some people, but will let a group of tourists buy out the stockroom.

Do you mind to share some pictures? including the creed, hardware, leather, etc.
I believe it's a MFF piece, I would like to see whether it's true it looks and feels exactly the same as boutique version.

I want to add an oxblood bag to my collection. I'm looking at the oxblood Rogue Bags. Even though they are all called oxblood, the color look a bit different. The Whipstitch Rogue looks a bit eggplant purple. The Rivets Rogue looks darker. The Rogue 25 and Prairie Rivets Rogue look warmer. Is it just me? What do you think? And which one would you pick?

I have the Prairie Rivets one and love it. I would call it more of a burgundy than oxblood.

I'm thinking it is the flash making them look different. I don't think they would change their color formula and as long as it is the same leather (all pebbled versions), then I think they would be the same. You'd have to see them IRL to really know or maybe an SA can advise what they have seen over time. I do know smooth leather takes color differently than say pebbled.

My SA at the outlet said this is the case. The Rogues they are receiving are mostly the 17 size and the shoulder bags, many that are from international supply. Some will not have the F on the creed and some will, depending on whether they were already produced or are in production, thus there is no way to really know the differences as they are basically ‘boutique’ bags. You may also see some with the dust bags and some without. She said these were not selling well at the boutique, thus this MFF Rogue strategy. She said this is how some of the recent dinkys they had were also marked with the F in the creed and some without. So basically it’s a quality boutique bag but with a F creed, still it can be very confusing..... should have just stuck with the old ways of putting the bullseye stamp on the creed!
