Actually, I think the retail rogues especially the first generation and maybe a few seasons after that will be valued more since they are more substantial bags with real quality. I haven't seen the MFF ones yet. But if I'm going to be looking for a rogue on a resale site, it is going to be one of the older models.
I agree with you. I don't purchase a bag and ask myself if the bag will keep its value. I purchase because I love it. Because it fits my need. I really don't care if the make future mff. I love the bag that I purchased. Just my 2cents. Lol

I agree and those are the only Rogues I have.

Ugh....really dislike that rogue is going mff. Does this mean this is the end of any new fp ones being released? I was just considering hunting down a whipstitch dark turquoise but might hold off now. I don't see the average consumer knowing a difference between the 1st and 2nd generations compared to these new mff ones. You always see the coach Facebook page full of "Oh, I only shop at the outlet. I get my awesome bags for cheap! People are so crazy to shop at the boutiques." They have no idea of the huge quality difference between the average mff bag and a 1941 bag.

I'd love to get another first generation Rogue.

This is why a mff rogue would not bother me bc I know the difference and I don't care what the next person carry. Mff or fp.

I have no words for this. It's a good thing I moved on from Rogues a while ago.
after seeing this, I think i am done with coach for a while now. Such a disappointment! I thought this brand will go high, but like always happened in the past, they went low. Massive producing their iconic bag in cheaper material but in exact same design , it’s like they are selling their own counterfeit! This is just the last thing I want to see with a brand. I cannot support it anymore. I am done!

Yeah that's exactly how it feels. They make their own counterfeit items. I will be pissed of they bring out MFF version of the kiss lock bags they did in 2017. Really, why can't they learn from other brands? Limited productions mean more people are willing to buy at a higher price. Keep it exclusive to the boutique. Create a low supply to keep the demand high for a high quality product. But nope.. soon as they do something good they bring themselves back down. Coach is its own enemy. SMH.

Most people don't even know the difference between 1941 and regular Coach bags. They will find 1941 bags overpriced. I visited my local Coach a few days ago. Winter sale is coming to an end, however, there are a lot of 1941 bags left: Rogue, Saddle 23, Cooper, Bedford and 1941 clutches. Rogue 25 and Dinky are more popular and sell out faster. Maybe I live in a small city where people don't care about fashion and handbags. Anyways, I don't think 1941 are selling very well.

I am happy with the six Rogues I own and I agree sounds like the Rogue is on it's way out in the boutique line.
Although I wish they weren't being phased out I'm not surprised by the MFF shift. I own the swagger and love it and the fact that the Blake exists does not bother me.
I am sad about the shift because it feels like the end of an era, my favorite styles are the saddle 23 and the rogue 25- both of which are on the outs.

I picked up a bordeaux rogue tote at the outlet today. I was in a bit of a rush and didn’t look closely but I just looked and it has the f on the creed, the tag, and the dot on the made in tag. It was with the other retail bags at 60% off. Does this mean this is a factory bag?

If the F is the first letter in the second series of numbers, it is MFF( made for factory). From your description, the bag you purchased sounds MFF.
