I laughed when I read this because I ordered the tea rose sequin charm in pink with brass hardware, as shown in the pics on the Coach site, and when it arrived it had gunmetal hardware. I sent it back because I already have that exact charm. So very frustrating!!

Here is my absolutely gorgeous Rogue 25 (ruby) and I am more than happy with it! I bought it right before Christmas, It came in an amazing condition with 1941 dust bag. I love the color, it doesn’t seem too bright to me.

I was really nervous after reading multiple bad reviews about rubies in this thread recently, seems like we all ordered them around the same time and received bags in very different quality.

I love the color but feel if I kept it I'd always regret not waiting for the ostrich one. I'm trying to hold back from telling Coach to send my package back....

I see, thanks for clearing that up. There's literally 7 stores within a half hour of me so I guess I've taken for granted the ability to see things in store. I do agree that Coach doesn't do the best with pictures on its website - especially embellished Rogues, they rarely (if ever!) show what the back looks like, and oftentimes it's different from the front.
I'm glad you don't use bags you don't intend to return. Enjoy your new bags in good health. :)

Thank you for coming back to acknowledge the misunderstanding as my hackles were up so I apologize for snark returned to you.

I hate Coach's pictures and the fact that they don't ever show all the angles. So I try to find pics someone else has posted of the items IRL to see if I even want to order it. I know it is costly to order and return but it is far less than Coach having a store near me. The price of doing online business and this is the way of all online retailers now, if they want to build customers they have to offer free returns. Bags are a tactile item for me so at least I have learned from my purchases that I only like the 1941 leather so no more orders of NY items from any retailer - Macys, Coach, etc.

Well, lesson learned. I decided not to wait for a better e bates amount and go ahead and order. The bag is now out of stock. I guess next time, I should just suck it up. :(
