The saddle color was 50% off last year, not saying the seller didn't buy it full price but $300 is high with the cracking of the sealing which sometime is not a easy fix. Personally I would return it.

I think I would too on the basis of dishonesty.

Sounds like you deserve better for what you paid for it. We're not emotionally tied to the decision but the edgepaint was terrible looking. I would be disappointed and you have grounds for returning. Keep looking....another one will pop up!

I guess I would be out the return shipping which sucks. I told them no to the restocking fee and that I would file a SNAD if they insist on it.

Nope. Fight the return shipping cost too.
Why should you have to pay to ship something that you would have never bought if it was represented fairly?

Absolutely. The seller did not clearly describe the item, so they should pay return shipping. eBay typically sides with buyers.

I would definitely open a claim with Ebay. If they didn't show pictures of the flaws and describe it in the description that is dishonest. Ebay is great with backing up the buyer. I myself wouldn't keep it.
