I agree. I would prefer Dooney to non-1941 Coach. I went to the store yesterday to check a few newer items out and was really underwhelmed. Usually I have so many on my wish list. I still do but they are the last of the 1941 stock. I saw the new rogue w/ sequins and looked at the suede lining. It is sub-par to what Coach has been using. I won't be looking for any more rogues if this is the direction they are going. Good time for my wallet to take a break and I've been wanting to add a few classic luxury items to my collection.

Oh it was that long ago? I tried to think back when it debuted and thought it was Spring of 2017. Dang. I just got mine NWT on E*bay in July, so I knew it had been a while. I had that bag on my mind for 2+ years???
Yes, how time flies! I was just thinking last week that my first gen oxblood Rogue is already 2 1/2 years old!

I agree that the 1941 line is what sets Coach apart. For me, I had the same good feeling buying my Rogue that I have had when buying a bag from another high end brand. So, I hope the 1941 line sticks around!
I generally agree about the 1941 line. Not that I would never buy a non-1941 bag but it is the 1941 line that was a brand differentiator and made coach feel special relative to other mid tiers. The Parker and dreamers have great designs but they do not have same quality of materials feel to me.

Thank you CoachMaven! I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. I have collected unite a few vintage coach bags. And I think I might be selling some of those to get some of these new ones. I usually like a nice east west bag so I think I’d like the satchel, but I wonder how much room there is and since they aren’t in the stores I’m flying blind. My sas offered to wear hers into the store if I tell her when I’m coming.

I have a few Rogues and I’m totally smitten with them! I’ve seen a satchel in person (but don’t own one) and I think the satchel May fit a bit more than the regular due to its width. But like @CoachMaven I don’t stuff mine. They’re a great bag!
Lemme tell you- Rogues are like potato chips, you cannot have just one. I was always a one style of bag each person, until the Rogue. They are a great bag. Which color satchel are you looking to purchase?
I got the oxblood with the gold( butterscotch) suede on the sides and wipstitch handles
I don’t think there is another one I could like more- it goes with everything, but I have been eyeing a blue steel and the melon was the first one I liked. The leather is addictively squishy

Very pretty! I have the steel blue one, it goes with a lot too and a great year round option.
