As an LV lover, I have to ask you what LV piece did you choose? Things seem to be quickly produced right now by LV so I'm sticking to just purchasing classics. I have a couple more bags and accessories on my list, but this will be a small collection. I just want a few to enjoy using. I do not wish to wrestle with numbers, like I do with my Coach bags.
I should have worded that better lol I was going to buy an LV after 2 yrs of not buying any Coach but then when my 2 yr ban was over I never ended up purchasing any LV! Haha! I can’t even remember the bag I was interested in but I probably would have chose a speedy in the end. It’s a classic! My taste in bags has changed a lot and I save the fun prints and colors for clutches, wristlets and small crossbodies. I used to lust after bags that were the embellished or more limited edition versions and now I like the plain classic styles.
Oh, that's so funny! Speedy is my favourite LV silhouette so we are the same on loving our classics! I'm much happier in the long run when I purchase a classic style.
That's a good idea to choose the fun prints and colours for smaller pieces. I have mostly stayed with the classics for handbags and neutral colours (black, brown, navy, tan) but adding a bit more colour now. I mentioned earlier that I'm on a bit of a blue kick right now so my denim Dinky 24 was my most recent purchase. She's fun and a real beauty!
I was toying with getting the rogue that is in that red leopard haircalf on the side of your "fall car bag". How would you describe the red color IRL? Is it a bold bright red or more subtle....as much as it can be being red leopard! I've seen the stock photos and the photo from the pre-Spring 2017 collection ad and it looks fun! Just curious on your opinion since you have a little of it in that bag. Or if anyone owns the bag I'm talking about, please chime in! I don't ever see one on the resale sites so people who own it must like it is my thought.
I was looking at Coach reference sections on PF & ran across stuff about PCE acronym AND Private Event announcements. Both correct. Those sales are called Private Event, by the Coach website in particular for those of you who usually purchase online. An SA will notify their customers of a Preferred Customer Event....which is a private event. I guess we're not technically "Private Customers", although I dont give out personal info to just anyone! LOL. Uh, like the fact I binged on Coach merchandise for 13 mos to make up for years of none until only ONE in 2012. I won't even admit how many bags, wallets & other accessories I've gotten in a short time, but...shhhh.. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten a new car, so need my head examined! I'll probably be in a nursing home in 20-25 yrs so by golly I'm going to love these leather babies with lots of rotation while I'm still vertical, but I haven't showed off new stuff for months to coworkers or my daughters. It just accompanies me without comment. They know my crummy wages & would probably declare me incompetent! Ha! They dont know my status as a PC in Coachland...woohoo. At least I have a cool stash of "modern luxury" before I die. I am just thankful for my two no interest credit cards intros, but whoever has been processing my billing statements must get a chuckle that they're dominated by one particlar vendor. Cheers to you Fellow Forum attendees who understand this. I'm trying my own purchase ban now after 12 mos, but slipped off the wagon on the marine blue snake patchwork Swagger after only 4 weeks.....dang.
It's pretty bright to me, but I despise red.... like I took a personality test last week and it said my personality color was red and I was not happy! It is beautiful though!

Agreed!!! I didn't even think I have 'many', but as of these past sales it's creeping up! I'm trying really hard to not duplicate things. But they keep coming out with new, completely different Rogues!
That being said, I've had my eye on your one on the far right...
I wanted that awesome red leopard but 3 SAs advised against it. I think it works on the recessed sides of the rogue, or small patchwork designs but customers say it doesn't wear well when that calf hair is on front & back & rubs againt your body, seat of car, etc. Lots of balding happening & comlaints to Coach. I had seen the large rogue in a beautiful floral at outlet for 70% off but wondered about that.
