I managed to see the Ivy Rogue in person... oh lala :heart: I think it was also the first Rogue I've ever pet... er, touched, and didn't just look at from afar. It's so luxe and soft and classy looking. I also thought at first it would've been better with black handles- I love Rogues with contrasting details. But the smoothness of the handles kind of makes them look darker anyway if that makes sense. I'm wondering when I should jump on this and make it my first Rogue. It's hard because on one hand colours randomly disappear and new ones come out all the time, but I don't want to miss out. And then there's the sale issue- I see people write that they don't ever pay full price for Rogues, but I don't know if they all eventually go on sale?

I got my Ivy Rogue on sale during the last PCE! Who knows if it will be included next sale... but I love mine! It doesn’t seem super popular (not sure why it’s gorgeous! Haha) So I imagine it’s not going to sell out soon but you could always call Coach and see how many they have to get an idea?

I love the dark green because to me it looks green and not black but is still rich and deep! And I like how the mint suede really POPS! I’ve been wearing it with all sorts of colors, today I have on a lavender chenille sweater and they look great together.

Haha I hit enter to soon! Funny you mention the handles looking dark and you are so right. Earlier today I was posting how I thought it would look a teeny bit better with darker handles but wow! The smooth leather does act like a darker color for it, same for the hangtags. Thanks for pointing this out to me :biggrin:

I haven't seen the ivy pebbled one in person. I saw the smooth leather one which is more of a slight metallic tint to it and has the patterned inside. I liked it but wanted to see the pebbled ivy one.

I agree, it can be hard to get all we want in a bag. I tell myself I should just save and get a MTO one but they don't have all the colors - at least on the website. Maybe if I make my holy grail rogue, I won't keep buying others!

You're welcome! I noticed you made that comment and it was something I myself had wondered based on stock pictures, but when I tried it on and admired it in the mirror I realized the handles already looked darker, in case anyone else is wondering about that.

I see a lot of people mentioning PCE... what is that :confused1:

I love my olive & black trimmed rogue. Especially the blue suede interior. It's a great neutral color. Have a black western trimmed leather feather charm on it. Kind of wintery colors, but no worse for summer than any neutral brown.

I think they have a few PCE or preferred customer events per year. They are invite only but often times people on the forum will give their unique discount codes (how kind of them!) to other forum posters!

I haven’t seen the smooth Ivy in person but from photos it did look like it was slightly metallic, I thought maybe that was just my eyes haha! The print inside looks cute but I think I prefer the suede for the luxe vibe.

Funny I was playing around with the MTO options today. So fun! I really love brass and they just don’t seem to do many versions with brass. So maybe if I can be strong and hold out one of those will be in my future :biggrin:

So, I just got my first Rogue last week (see Primrose above) but I'm obsessed already. I want another, but in a more neutral color. I'm thinking chalk, but I don't like the brass on the current model. Was the black trimmed chalk Rogue from the original collection? If it's a lost cause to try to get one, I may actually go the MTO route and make exactly what I want.

Yes. The black trimmed chalk is from the first generation. You'd have to try Ebay or see if there's old stock hiding somewhere but I doubt it.

Haha same! It’s been a long time since I’ve been in love with a bag like I am with my Rogue! I actually just bought the rexy ornament in primrose because of the photos of the color a couple days ago. I want to have a lil piece of that color so pretty!
