I have enough bags (and Rogues). SO, to get this one, I will need to exchange another. I am thinking to exchange my Olive Rogue (pictured above) for this one, but I just don't know! Red is my favorite color, but not sure it will go with as much as my Olive one will...?!?!? I know I could have worse problems! ;)

Really? In my head red goes with far more colors than olive. Plus it's a year round color. Olive not so much. But that's just me.... [emoji6]

I love it!!! The olive is lovely as well but for the price point, go with your heart. Since you already have other Rogues, you can be adventurous with color. Go red!!! :smile1:

Update on my mineral rogue that had edge paint cracking. Coach was not able to fix it. They send a merchandise credit and I had the option to have bag returned. I called because mineral rogue was still available online buy the rep said it wasn't.

My friends white rogue has the same issue.

I hope you ladies Rogues stay in good health since they are so gorgous!!

So...my mom and I stopped into Coach yesterday to get a couple of 1941 bags monogrammed...and they had the "new," lighter version of the Rogue bag out for prefall. Pretty colors, but...

It's not the same bag. I like the original version better. There's no lock, none of the pretty details of the original, the stitching is different -- and I made sure that I wasn't looking at the smaller version with the SA, which I know they removed the lock for.

I don't have the money for a Rogue right now, but I'm curious -- are the first generations even still available?!! I scrolled around this thread for reactions to the new one but couldn't find any. I don't mean to step on toes, because I think it's still a pretty bag, but I really prefer the original Rogue.

WHY DOES COACH KEEP CHANGING GOOD BAGS WITHIN A MATTER OF WEEKS?!!!! It might be a "lighter" version of the Rogue to carry - but they are skimping on details!!!!!!

I kind of figured this. There were so many complaints/ returns because of weight that they had to do something. When it was mentioned that the new Rogues were lighter, I instantly started wondering what "details" would be removed. I am happy that I got the original one on sale. Hopefully, the new version is still just as wonderful.

Some stores may still have the original version depending on what color you're looking for. Black may still be available since it wasn't as popular because of the season. Also, eBay....:smile1:

I'm in the camp of those who are thankful for the changes. I just could not get past the weight of the original despite my numerous efforts (bought & returned the chalk Rogue twice). Unfortunately, the new Rogue in chalk has brass hardware which I'm not a fan of. That said, I purchased the olive in the new design this past week. I don't feel the quality or craftsmanship is lacking. The hardware is still top notch & the zipper IMO is better quality, smoother. While I don't miss what they took away or changed, I do get why others who loved it are disappointed. Just from what I saw here, there were so many returns due to weight that Coach probably had to do something. I agree with the post above. I bet if you contact customer service, they'd be able to find some originals out there. If so, I'd suggest calling the store directly and ask questions about the bag. I've not had good luck with store shipped bags. Good luck!

I was admiring some of the new ones yesterday, but didn't put my stuff in it to assess the weight of the bag. What did they do to make the bag lighter? By the lock, are you referring to the little pocket/key chain with the lock attached? I didn't realize there were so many complaints about the weight of the bag. I don't think it's too heavy, but then again, I am used to carrying a lot of things in my bag and many of the others I've carried are heavier. I like the new versions as much as the old ones and haven't noticed the changes yet.
