ohhh woud love to see more pics of the tan Rodeo....
I only have the small Rodeo in black and the leather is soft.

The black leather softens very soon. I was a bit disappointed when my SA first showed me the brand new black one she reserved for me so I wouldn't get the floor model. The floor model looked better! The brand new "untouched" one looked stiff and dull initially. But the leather changes very soon to buttery soft with a few uses. You should see the leather on your black Rodeo soften soon.

The brown leather is a different leather. I love the way the leather looks from just the photos (I haven't seen it in person).

Oh! That’s good it softens up! I touched a new black one in a Balenciaga store a few months ago and it felt stiff and I didn’t like it so I left the store straight away lol

I was quite surprised when I first saw and touched the brand new Rodeo that my SA set aside for me. I had paid already and I had buyer's remorse when I saw how stiff and weird the lack of slouchiness made the bag look. It wasn't the same as the floor model. The floor model had wear on the back corners, but was much more soft. But it is just because the leather is so new. Now the leather has softened on mine and looks like how I imagined it should look.
