At 5.5" H x 8.5" W x 1.5" D, it could take a lot of work to make such a compact bag super heavy... lol!

The zipper fabric is going to be the first thing to fail on this bag with normal use.
If they made this burgundy in the small size, I would not be able to resist. I'm worried the mini would be too small.
The small is the perfect size. The mini is very cute though. This color is gorgeous!
Any intel if the Small will be released in other colours? I tried it on and the leather is yummy!
I regret to inform everyone that this lovely burgundy mini rodeo is out of stock, though it shows available on the website. There was also a burgundy mini rodeo with silver hardware on the Saks website which I drooled over for a while, and actually preferred. Then over the weekend it was suddenly shown as sold out on Saks. I panicked, thinking pretty soon they'll be sold out everywhere, so I rushed to the Bal website and bought it with the gold hardware and paid for overnight shipping. The day it was supposed to be delivered (yesterday) I get an email from Balenciaga that my order has been cancelled. No explanation. I called and their CS said it's sold out.

They definitely have serious ops/tech/marketing issues. I was invited to a personalization event, booked an appointment, then crickets. An SA confirmed that the store was unaware that the event was being promoted (they haven’t received any info from Central Marketing about fulfilling the service).
Big fail any time of year but since this was promoted as a gifting opportunity, all the worse.
I tried on the burgundy and the black crockpot emobossed today and I just can’t decide! Does anyone have the croc embossed? Felt like the croc smooshed so well…

Here is a pic. This one is a keeper for me. I had tried the medium in regular black leather first but decided to return it because it was just too similar to the many other black bags with gold hardware in my closet. I then tried this leather but in the large size and decided to return that too (heavier bag, slightly more stiff leather, combined with a thin strap made it really uncomfortable to carry). Finally I arrived at this one…my Goldilocks bag.

Thank you! I think it smooshes less than the regular leather does, but it still smooshes nicely. I had trouble getting a picture because the bag slouches a bit. The picture is a good reflection of the amount of smoosh when I sit the bag down.
Absolutely stunning!! I will attach pics of the one I tried which was the medium.....Ironically, felt like it was much softer and easier to work with than the burgundy- felt like it was much smooshier. My concern now is getting it from boutique or Nordstrom based on the drama I read earlier....
