(My bank acount, on the other hand, is probably quite relieved - I was dying for a Rodeo until I read about /saw your experiences.)

I’m so sorry to see the quality issues on this bag! I purchased the small and returned it the day I received it. Beautiful bag but it just didn’t fit my lifestyle and I knew I would rarely use it. Too expensive to just sit in my closet. Gorgeous bag though!

Just came across this online. A faux ostrich version in oxblood/similar color. I only see it available for preorder on Moda Operandi and not on the Balenciaga site. Personally I love the color, especially paired with that hardware. Unfortunately I am not a fan of ostrich, faux or real.

Cute! I don’t mind real ostrich, but definitely would not consider paying that large sum of a money for a faux one

The funny thing is, even as a riff on the notorious Kelly, I’m totally drawn to the Rodeo. The leather looks so drool-worthy smushy and it is actually a very functional design!

I immediately thought this too. It gives major Peekaboo vibes, but less formal and more care free. I had a few Kellys too, IMO they are the least user friendly bags I’ve owned - the flap and sangles irritated the hell out of me. Beautiful nonetheless but just didn’t work for me in any size or leather and I tried a few.

I’m hoping the Rodeo bag will fill my top handle craving :biggrin:
