I decided to give this bag another try but up a size and in a different texture.

Last time I felt the medium size in black with gold hardware just didn’t stand out from my other bags. I have too many others like it.

This time I went up to the large size and in croc embossed since I think the slouchier the better with this style and I don’t have anything croc embossed today.

Now I have to wait patiently for this pre order which may take two or so months!
Are you in Canada? They had one at my local boutique this past weekend

So I reached out to Client Services and they emailed me an inquiry form to fill out. Called and was told they forward my email over to After Care Team and they “should get to me in 14-21 days.”

I’m really sad about this. Barely a month in, and the snap closure broke off

Anyone who lives in Houston, TX—if you have any advise/suggestions/input on who can help me with this promptly, that would be great! I’m deeply appreciative.

Do you still have the back piece? Keep it in a safe place or snapped onto the other side, if you feel confident it'll stay.

I have an Étoile IM denim jacket that recently experienced this on a sleeve's snap -- live in a small town and the bigger neighbouring town was able to fix it, but wasn't able to keep the original snap (super disappointing, but for a jacket it's whatever).

You likely have more sophisticated repair shops, but wait to hear what Bal has to say and please keep us posted!

FWIW, I had a Proenza Schouler bag that had a rivet fall off the day I got it and Barneys was able to sort out the repair.

Thank you so much. Yea I kept the back piece/snap closure.

This is really disappointing. To spend this much money on a bag and barely a month in… the snap breaks off.

The person that I spoke to on the phone didn’t seem very understanding and I’m just left with a sour taste in my mouth.

I truly want to just take this to a cobble shop but I’m paranoid they’ll F my bag up.

Dunno if i have the patience to wait 14-21 days just for a response from the After Care team on the steps I need to take just to get a snap closure fixed

So sorry that happened...

14-21 days is absurd and totally understandable to be paranoid!

Do you have a local boutique to go into? Even if it isn't where you bought it, I'd bring it in to complain IRL.
