Hi, popping in here to share my mini rockie with silver studs! I've always wanted a rocco/rockie, but I couldn't handle the weight (no upper body strength :sweatdrop:). I was so excited when I heard that AW was releasing a smaller (and therefore lighter) version! Looking online, the weight difference between the mini and the regular is just 2 oz, but it feels a lot more when it's on my shoulder!

Ooh nice! I nearly bought the navy/silver mini but stopped at the last minute because I was worried about the size. Any chance of getting a photo of the inside of the bag with contents?

Already a devoted AW fan, just tried both Rockie and Rocco for the first time. I expected them to do different things: Rocco would haul the big(ger) loads - i.e.: work stuff, whereas Rockie would work when I could go lighter. There would be room in the family for both of them.

What a surprise to find that --- for it's larger size and greater weight, *I couldn't put more STUFF inside the Rocco compared to the Rockie*. The straight Rocco opening is harder to get in / out of; the length is so close (to the Rockie) that it does NOT take work files at all, and in the end - it holds the same stuff the Rockie does. Could add an umbrella / water bottle to the Rocco, but otherwise, they haul the same stuff. For that, the Rocco is going back.

Rockie, however, will join the family and likely persuade me to add brother/sister Rockies. The size, shape, outer pockets on the one end, u-shaped zip are all amazing. This bag swallows all the right things in such an accessible, organized way - the best mix of space and access I have come across in a bag in, well EVER. (and I've come across WAY TOO MANY bags.)

Smitten with this adorable, functional, and unbelievably COOL bag <3 <3 <3

I used to have an older Rocco but ended up selling it. At Nordstrom they had the most beautiful oxblood Rocco but after trying it on it just looked too big on me. I don't remember my Rocco being that big but I used it a lot so the leather had sunk in more. I tried on the Rockie and liked the size much better, so I ended up tracking down an oxblood Rockie and love it so much!

Sure! Here's a pic with my phone, wallet, planner, pencil case, and keys tucked inside the mini. I forgot to toss in my makeup pouch, but you get the idea :smile1:

I just tried it out, and the mini Rockie can fit an iPad mini (with case) if you place it diagonally. But it doesn't leave much room for anything else.

Random and likely silly question: what does the 'Dumbo' designation distinguish? I thought it was softer, smoother leather - yet looking online, there are just as many heavily pebbled Dumbos.

Anyone?
