Platinum Jubilee medal hailed by Culture Secretary as fitting tribute
The design of the medal has been revealed and Nadine Dorries was given the first glimpse when she visited the Birmingham workshop of the company commissioned with making the items.
I think at her age they are just taking all precautions.
Still looking forward to the Platinum Jubilee!
The Queen will be seen in public on Sunday for the Whitehall Remembrance Day service no way was she missing that - I fear her issues are with her mobility I hope they let her sit down on a large throne on the balcony raised up
It has been commented on she is in some discomfort and cannot ride her beloved pony maybe problems with her joints / knees ? She was very unsteady on her legs at her last public appearances she should be allowed to be seated more often
Part of me thinks that they are keeping her isolated until her jubilee. The jubilee is such a big deal celebration that I think they want to ensure that it happens and will take great care with her health. At the same time, she’s not the type of person to shy away from her duties. She looked good on camera during her video appearances.
