I hadn’t realised lady Gabrielle Windsor fainted when the queens coffin was first brought into Westminster hall I do recall the cameras panned away and showed on person sitting on a chair while the rest of the family stood - she is a beautiful girl and was so close to the Queen her first cousin once removed ( her father Prince Michael of Kent is the Queens cousin)

What an incredible collection of photos, ElvisFan! Thank you so much!

I really love the combination of gown and jewels that she wore in the photo with Prez Bill C. We were so used to seeing her at important events and state dinners in solid whites and pastels but I think the dress is gorgeous and the jewelry suits it perfectly. She really looks wonderful in that photo.

And I still recall members of the US media catching and commenting on the the major gaffe by "a certain American Chief Executive" who ignored all the rules of protocol and constantly walked several steps AHEAD of Her Majesty. Even we Yanks noticed.
