It was great spending time with everybody from around the world , mourning HMTQ. Such a historic time in our lives.Thank you all for the pleasure of your company during this sad and historic event. Time to get dressed![]()
I agree: I'm a half Brit, born and raised in England but have been living abroad for many years. These events make so proud to be a British citizen!I did not expect to spend the day watching the funeral, but somehow I have! And as a British citizen, if a person can't feel proud to be British today, I don't know when you can. RIP your Majesty!![]()
They’ve had a few Brit’s on too but BBC is just so much better at thisthe had an American woman (unknown to me) the other day explaining about the monarchy.....not saying that anyone can't learn this stuff but she wasn't impressive so why not a Brit?
I love that they had her pony and her corgi's watching the casket pass
me to. It took me by surprise and that was it.That’s the moment I completely lost it![]()

As a fellow Brit I have to say how surprised I've been by how much I've cried since the passing of our Queen. As one or two posters have already said, thank you everyone for being here and supporting each other through the last ten days. I'm English and it is very uplifting, in these very sad times, to see how much Queen Elizabeth II meant to so many around the world.
It's going to take a long while to adjust to the loss of our QEII. Perhaps this thread may linger a while as we go through the next few days and weeks, or it may not, but we've helped each other through the days since she passed and that's been priceless. Thank you.![]()
I was ok with the pups, seeing Emma--her lovely horse standing there--I'm crying again. That’s the moment I completely lost it![]()
