Lo so
I did not expect to spend the day watching the funeral, but somehow I have! And as a British citizen, if a person can't feel proud to be British today, I don't know when you can. RIP your Majesty!
I agree: I'm a half Brit, born and raised in England but have been living abroad for many years. These events make so proud to be a British citizen!

As one or two posters have already said, thank you everyone for being here and supporting each other through the last ten days. I'm English and it is very uplifting, in these very sad times, to see how much Queen Elizabeth II meant to so many around the world.

It's going to take a long while to adjust to the loss of our QEII. Perhaps this thread may linger a while as we go through the next few days and weeks, or it may not, but we've helped each other through the days since she passed and that's been priceless. Thank you.

As a fellow Brit I have to say how surprised I've been by how much I've cried since the passing of our Queen.
today I wept buckets when they removed her Orb Sceptre and Crown from her Coffin.
The end of an Era.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
God save the King.
it must have been so hard for him getting through today.
