Hey guys, I need some help! I do not know how to post or ask a question that I have regarding my Cartier bracelets. Can you guys help point me in the direction that I need to be? Here is what I'm trying to get opinions on... I have the white gold Cartier love bracelet that I've had for over 10 years. I recently got the rose gold Juste un Clou with diamonds for my 34th wedding anniversary. I also have the Panthere de Cartier bracelet.(gold) I have been trying to decide how to stack them. I have seen different pictures with an array of bracelets, ALL BEAUTIFUL! I have been wearing my tennis bracelet and white gold love bracelet with my Tiffany watch. I recently added the rose gold Juste en clou to this grouping. I am second-guessing my decision, and I am thinking I need to remove the rose gold J.E.C. and possibly wear it on my other wrist. On my other wrist, I have the Panthere de Cartier bracelet. When I put them on together, I am not sure I like the way they look together. I'm wondering if someone could recommend a "buffer" bracelet (not Cartier, just a jewelry store bracelet, I'm broke, lol) that would separate them. I am thinking, I needed some thing, plain, as in possibly a bangle possibly that would join them together without being too gaudy. ANY SUGGESTIONS???

My cuff hasn't changed and it's approx. 9 years old ~ It's so weird how some change and others don't. I wonder if it has something to do with the water or with products used.
This has actually been discussed on a prior thread, and it can be affected by exposure to water (and the chemicals in the water). Lots of rose gold jewelry won't have this issue, or rose gold watches on leather straps, because they are often taken off and not worn in the shower or to go swimming. Chemicals in swimming pools, and even the different chemicals and whether your live in a place with hard water (high mineral content) can affect whether your rose gold love bracelet changes color. This issue has happened with other brands. Rolex makes a special alloy of their rose gold called "Everrose" which is supposed to resist fading or changing color. However, I've heard stories of a person who bought their watch in Everrose and with swimming and showering with it on it changed color. I believe the good news for most people, is the color change is just the outer layer of the gold. I'd avoid an actual polishing by a jeweler as that removes a slight amount of gold (so its something you don't want to do often). However, with an older rose gold Love I had I got a "Cape Cod Cloth" (which is a very soft polishing cloth, it can remove tarnish from sterling silver, and it can buff slight scratches out of gold. I gave it a gentle wipe it down (not trying to polish out scratches or anything serious), and it seemed to remove some of the oxidation and brought back a rosier color. At least that was my experience in the past.

If you want the RG get it!
My two bracelets are only six months old and one is yellow golden one is Rosegold. The color has not changed on either bracelet, "yet". Looking at that picture, the colors are almost the same, but seeing them in person, there are two totally different colors. It's Cartier, if you can afford it, wear it and be proud, no matter what color it is! : -) I love my panther bracelet, but I feel the Juste en clou next to it does nothing for either Bracelet. YET I DON'T WANT TO NOT WEAR ONE!? I would love to see someone else with the panther bracelet, and what they wear with it.

Hi everyone! I am considering adding a few rose gold pieces to my collection. I’m normally a yellow gold person, but I feel I need to switch it up. I’m a little torn though - I’ve seen some rose gold pieces eventually turn into something similar to yellow gold, while some look more coppery/bronze. I’m not a big fan of the bronze look, but figured I would ask here to read your experience. If you have any photos of your current RG pieces and info on how long you’ve had them, I’d love to see!

I haven't seen much change with my pieces (at least 4 pieces regular worn). I wear for everyday for everything and with Cartier yg and wg so I can clearly see the differences between the 3 colours all at once. RG looks exactly the same as when new.

Others seem to insist their C rg changes, I suppose they must have a chemical in their skin that perhaps that reacts to the copper alloy in the metal which I suppose could neg the pink to a more neutral brown. The only colour that seems to change is my C wg which seems to go more grey in time on my skin (6 pieces).

Mine is still new, I got it in June. But my SA says it’ll probably look yellow eventually as Cartier RG is very subtle. I can barely tell mines pink.

See I can tell which one of yours is RG. The middle one, right? I love my RG small Love, and I can tell the difference between that one and my YG regular Love. It's really noticeable in the sun, too. I've had mine since early 2022 and I can still see the RG in it.IMG_0718.jpeg

I do think Cartier rose gold is more subtle when new than other designers rose gold. I have the rose gold Love wedding band with diamonds for 2 years. When I see it by itself I'm hard-pressed to tell that it's not yellow gold. When I see it next to something yellow gold I can see the difference but it's not a very distinct difference. I'm thinking Tiffany's rose gold was much more pronounced in it's color difference.
