My bracelet finally arrived! It's very beautiful! What do you think about the carnelian shade? Certainly looks like a darker red. Looking forward to see what it looks like in the sun.
Do you think it's worthwhile to try to get a piece thats slightly brighter shade of red? (I wouldnt want one that looks bright red or close to orange)

I was surprised with that. I remember customer service mentioning to me that earrings were included.
My SA said no earrings either, and the website suggests the same.
Anyone else wishes they did a 10 motif? I wanted a 10 motif next in my collection... but I can't NOT get something from this collection because I'm a RG lady and it is so gorgeous! Have reserved a 5 motif with my SA and will play around to see how it wears chained with a necklace chain, or even with 5+5 combined..!

Slightly second guessing how much wear I will get out of this, or what I now consider to be my complete stack (sweet carnelian RG bracelet + RG 6 motif hammered - same colours lol, + RG love). I guess I'll have to try it on!

Lighting is really bad in these pics. I would wait to see it irl.
It's hard to tell just by looking at the stones alone. Most importantly how does it look on you? Carnelian is semi-translucent so you want one that look best on your skin tone, not just by itself.
It looks great in person but I’m noticing it’s really lightning dependent when wearing. In some lightings it’s darker and in others it pops more with a brighter red color. Overall it’s definitely a darker red.
When I wear it in the sunlight, the red pops more on my skin but still keeps it deep tones.
Looks like there are many variables that affect how it looks when wearing.

Mine is a darker red too. I really don’t like orangey red. I was given quite a number of choices actually but I thought mine looked the most red at the time even though it is the darker shade. I think the dark shade contrasts well with the rose gold as well. Anyway I think it is really difficult because the light and background really makes a difference and it keeps on changing as the bracelet moves around the wrist. I am not used to that since this is my first carnelian! I guess that is the beauty of it. Enjoy your bracelet!
I honestly didn't put too much thought into deciding the shade of carnelian nor I think there's a particular shade that is universally flattering/desired. I do know that I don't like it to be either too orange or too brown (dark). So I tried on all of them on in one arm and compare how they look under different lightings (natural light, camera flash, sunlight) and picked the happy medium of the bunch.

It’s wonderful that you all were able to choose. My SA told me that I had to put in a deposit to order 1 and cannot exchange it if I do not like the color. So I politely declined until one comes into the boutique for me to be able to view it in person.
Our stock here in Toronto is very slim. Nearly everything is always out of stock

Not a fan as the length is not ideal. I wish VCA had come out with the 10 motif necklace and the 2 motif earrings this time. Oh well, hopefully next time.

That's so weird! I've always been told that the deposit can be fully refunded, not sure why the SA is making it sound like it's final sale for something you don't get to see/try on first. Wouldn't it be easier to just order from the website/e-boutique then?
