Resellers getting Chanel items first and selling for premium

And now Mel in Melbourne is actively trying to get people to buy from resellers! Unbelievable. It really seems like they are all in it together to make profits.

isn’t she a reseller herself?

I remember a while back she would sell/give away garbage like Chanel wrapping paper, ribbons, gift envelopes…etc to her subscribers lol.

are we seeing hellocatwalk and lvlovercc collab? Out from the place of taking a break, peace and tranquillity to moments of bang: sudden birkin and riding popularity of bigger influencer?

I haven’t watched these luxury youtubers for a couple of months now, part of my “luxury detox” regimen, lol. And their gushing over luxury bags got so boring to me any way.

I remember hearing of a Fashionably Amy and Kat L collaboration where they’re making a “members exclusive” livestream.
Hellocatwalkcity and LVloverCC have two completely different… narratives on their luxury purchases. One speaks clearly and eloquently while the other struggles to form coherent sentences and remains that way due to her subbies encouragement that she needs no improvement on her English speaking skills.

I feel like this particular collaboration is going to be a hilarious mess!

Just saw that Chanel will bring back Caviar minis(after all these price increases) and another price increase on classics in October.

It would be interesting to see how it would affect the resellers. I see things were still selling at 10k price over here in Canada
I hope this is true. I’d rather buy a brand new caviar mini for $4400 instead of buying one from 2018 for $6500+. The resell prices on them are crazy

Caviar mini? Any more details?

I should've took a screenshot. One consignment in instagram posted from another instagramer. So maybe not 100%. But back in lat 2019 one SA I talked to told me yes grained minis are coming back in 2020. But we all know what happened in 2020.

As much as I agree with you.... In Canada including the tax mini is already over $6000... For that I can't tell myself that it's worth it. But yes, I hope it takes sales away from resellers. But I can see them trying to snatch them up to resell for even more. I already see mini caviars that's going near 8k in Canada.

Maybe it’s a seasonal design? I see on Fashionphile what’s it called again incognito flap? That’s a square mini in caviar?

Sounded like it from the instagram post. Maybe too soon to be happy. But very strategic on Chanel's part. Keep inflating classic flap price and bring back the mini-ish in caviar to entice at the still below 10k price level.

Another price increase, just after 4 months?!

confirmed by multiple US SAs apparently. Not sure anywhere else in the world.
