I’m seeing so many people who managed to get classic flaps before the price increase sell them for the new price. It’s so disappointing because I contacted every SA I know to try and buy one. I hope no one buys them for the new price. Basic black and beige small flaps are listed for $7500+
Fashionphile has a mini caviar rectangle for $7k. Who would buy that? Isn’t one of the reasons the mini is so popular is that it’s a cheaper alternative to the small CF? Not at $7k it isn’t!

It’s crazzzzy. You might as well buy a classic m/l and or small brand new at the boutique for that price. Some of their prices are unbelievable on the site I rather not have the bag than to pay those prices
yeah a small is the same price and you can get it from the boutique! Why would you get a mini for the same price, and from fashionphile? I hope no one buys that!
Because it’s caviar and they don’t do them in caviar anymore. I Believe that’s the reason for the extreme mark up.
But couldn’t you just a get a caviar small for the same price but from the Chanel store?
Whenever the small caviar is in store, yes.
Edit: You should also be able to pick it up from the store. Some people don't have a store near them.
These days Chanel stores ship to all states in the US. May be an issue for countries with no boutiques at all.
I thought that Chanel only shipped after at least one store purchase. So that would exclude first time costumers also.
Regardless of where I lived, I’d wait to go to a Chanel store to buy a small caviar in person than overpay thousands of dollars for a mini off Fashionphile. One that isn’t even brand new even!
My first time with Chanel (ever) i called up the 1800 number and i had no purchase history and i was able to place an order . But this was few years ago, may be they are more strict now never know

That’s assuming your store has one for you to buy.
I’m a pretty good client and my success rate is about 50% with finding things I want to buy actually available when I want to buy them.
