exactly. If I wanted to watch a bag flipper I would specifically watch videos of someone who is openly a reseller that talks about their process or whatever. Not someone that’s clearly a bag flipper but doesn’t admit it or give any details about what they’re actually doing.
I’m like you. I like to see videos of people that actually use and enjoy their bags because the opinions, feedback, outfit ideas, and wear and tear commentary is genuine. How can I trust someone I know that resells all their bags on if a certain bag is good quality and holds up? They have incentive to lie because they want us to buy their castoffs later. No thanks.
Ugh that sucks bc I reached out to Nat to ask her for SA info and she never got back to me. I desperately want a black rectangular mini and saw that she had posted one, but I didn't know where from. No wonder she didn't respond, if resellers are using her to exploit customers!!! Wish I could prove to her that I'm a genuine person :/. That ruins things for the rest of us.

You’re totally right!! I saw that some of them post directly on the boutique stock thread. Like someone else said on here, there’s a special place in hell for them. I’m trying to build my handbag collection and I keep missing out on handbag from recent seasons because of them. Now, I have to wait for new seasons for Chanel to release similar colors that I’m looking for
My sa said i can put it as a "wishlist" bag, whatever that means... if you know, please tell me lol!
I can relate to everyone’s sentiments here. I’m still trying to get the tiffany blue mini or flap but the prices are way above what I am willing to pay. Now, I have to line up everytime I want something from a new collection in hopes that the VIPs didnt go for the item I want. But they just buy, create content and post then resell way above the retail price. With chanel coming up with similar sought after colors per season, I hope the resale market slows down significantly and becomes a buyers market once again!

I tend to give people the benefit of doubt if they don’t reply usually they are busy with their lives/jobs or too many of the same requests so didn’t bother to reply to all
back to topic.. I do want to say I can’t believe once again reseller got their hands on all the covted items before regular clients again! I can’t even get a SA to reply to my texts. Everytime the standard response has been silence or contact me in a few weeks

@hedgwin99 Thank you for saying this! I’ve been wanting to say all this but never got a chance to say… You are completely right! It’s my discretion to respond. Sometimes I receive too many messages I may have missed some or sometimes it’s not available so I didn’t get back. BUT the main reasons that I’ve been ignoring some people here are: no courtesy and rude when they come to me to ask for info or SA contact. As you all know, everybody is busy and have their own life too but I devote about 70-80% of my time on this forum just to help people out as a courtesy. So in return, I expect people to come to me with courteous bcuz I’m not your SA or your slave so don’t treat me like one! To me it’s a common courtesy when you ask for help. I’m more than happy and willing to go extra miles to help courteous and respectful people!
Another reason I ignored people are the new members who just created an account to stalk the stock thread to ask for SA contact. A few of my SA’s told me that many people I referred to them from this forum are resellers so don’t send people to them anymore… so I’m even more hesitant to give out my SA contact.
Lastly, sometimes people pm me for SA contact by just saying something like they want SA contact for the wallet I posted without telling me which wallet, color, pic and link to my post. Only God knows what they are looking for and I had been responding back to so many to ask for details and such but I’m getting tired and I really don’t have time to message back and forth to ask for more details. SO if one comes to me without enough details AND pics AND link to my post I’ll not respond.

I honestly think this is on topic. I’m also glad you responded to how it makes you feel. Resellers try to use you and your knowledge as a gateway to get what they are looking for to sell at a premium. No one wants to be used!

! Most people KNOW or at least should know that you aren’t obligated and you VOLUNTEER out of the kindness of your heart. Relationship building should be a thread for sure (or really maybe not). I can see why some people struggle to build relationships with SAs. It’s as simple as hang out around, contribute, get to know people, share and be nice - das it!Thank YOU for everything you do around here. I hope you are feeling better than you were last week!
