You did well by not watching/supporting these youtubers anymore .. i have literally unsubscribed so many youtubers this week .. for the sake of my mental/financial health lol
It is very surprising to me. If you and the other members hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have peeked in to see for myself how they had changed so drastically. I noticed the vlog sale video had Comments Turned Off. Well of course, we 5-6 discussing it here can't be the only ones who don't like feeling lead-on.

Of course there's a reasonable thing such as changing one's mind. It's quite another to be selling luxury purchases less than 3 years old and/or "barely used" in a big $$$-recovery sale...things you had seemingly raved about to other viewers.

This is the same channel that mused about potentially creating a subscription-based "insiders-only" series of videos/discussions? ugh

Its not even a recovery sale. A recovery sale is pricing at the price purchased. This is a profit making sale. Priced "premium" or over retail and tax because the item is "new" or "barely used". As far as I'm concerned, as soon as the bag has left the store and tried on, it is used.

That’s why they never remove the protective stickers in their ‘Chanel in action’ photos

They toy with the bags and carry them around and still claim that the bags are’ brand new’:cursing::sick:

I thought price increases would have put a damper on purchases but it seems as if people are not only willing to buy at new prices they are also willing to pay $2000+ over retail. These are current season and I see them on the boutique stock thread as available. This make me think that the monthly and yearly limit is what drives people to buy from resellers like in this example. So consumers are still enabling the reseller market.

I have seen even worse on Redeluxe and Fashionphile in the last few days - a 22c classic going for 11,500 on redeluxe and a small classic flap in grey going for 12,105 on Fashionphile! outrageous! If I was trying to get around the limit I'd use a personal shopper not reseller, because they only charge a sourcing fee.

redeluxe is the worst! their prices are insane...I unfollowed them recently because I couldn't take it anymore.

redeluxe is selling the pearl flap bag for $18k:rolleyes: they're not even real pearls and retailed for $3900

What's even more gross are the influencers advertising redeluxe on their platforms. Like why yes, I'd love to sell myself out and tell my followers to spend $10k+ on bags that are normally priced 1/3 of that! Absolute ghouls. I'm convinced the majority of influencers have no morals.

:amazed: crazy! I did not see the pearl bag. I wonder if most of the bags they sell, they have bought to flip or if they mostly consign for people.

Someone offered my friend 25k for her pearl flap. Isn’t that nuts :wtf:

That bag gives me weird vibes every time I look at it. I have trypophobia so maybe that why..I really don’t see the appeal. Maybe that’s just me…
