Yeah I thought she truly loved the micro bags and went to buy two colours of the same with top handle, I bet it’s to sell for high prices later on. I unsubscribed to her channel, so fake.
So true ! I dont know how these youtubers expect us to react ! If you see the vlog sale video of fashionablyamy she had comments turned off .. she very well expected people to comment and she wanted to avoid !?
so are we fools to watch these unboxing videos and still appreciate when they sell for no reason !?

also none of these youtubers are open for crticism .. they like and comment only if our comments are favourable to them ??

I guess the "premium" pricing is so she can make money towards her hermes b25. Watch more videos to come to justify her selling above retail in response. Oh and of course sponsored.

I think after awhile these YouTubers gets “suck in” by the luxury brands n the must haves.., if they want to continue to feature n attract viewers I suspect they have to hype up n resell some of their stuff at higher premium. Most of YouTubers does not strike me have unlimited bank account balances or trust fund babies.
One time I saw fashionablyamy brought a ton of sale balmain.. granted they were on mark down but she must’ve brought 5 pairs of top n 2 skirts.. that is a lot of $$$ even though these were mark for sale..

It’s rare to find YouTubers who really appreciates the products now. Look at KatL she loves her Chanel micro bag with top handle, she doesn’t go buying all the micro bags out there just to unbox.

If u want your b25 well u shouldn’t be buying other stuff and a lot of them in the first place. Chanel should crack down on these people like Hermes.

These people make money from the views, sponsors and resale of the bags. Ads like Lilysilk and Analuisa are annoying.

It is not only mini bags. These youtubers "love, love, love" almost everything that is Chanel or hermes and then turn around and sell it.

I saw the Chanel 19 small in black in the store last week (reverse metal) for $5700 retail. Then I saw the same bag on Fashionfile (new) for about $1000 more . You can get those bags in store if patient. Why pay the markup ? Crazy. I have never paid over retail for a bag.

Do you by chance know roughly how much a small tweed Chanel 19 costs. A reseller had one listed and I’m sure it’s over retail but I’m curious how much more

Guess who’s back? The same person who made her “slowing down” on chanel so dramatic , but also falls in line first on Chanel sale. She took a break when her name is all over this place. Lady, we never forget the YouTubers who hype the items and sell later for premium price.

Maybe this person has managed to collect a lot of Chanel’s during the 6 months off and now need to make money

Some of these resellers are basically advertisers, they exposed people to the overconsumption lifestyle and for what? I don’t make YouTube so I have the worse end of the stick here. Watch them and get influenced while they make money off of me to support their lavish, overspending lifestyle. I used to think it’s fun to watch them but little by little they do get to you since you’re giving them like 5-10 mins of your time just listening to them hyping up a product. Of course it’s going to get to you eventually, the things that was never on your radar and now suddenly it is. That’s why it’s called influencers/resellers. Just don’t give them the powers by stop watching guys!

I did too. I can understand changing your mind about a style that you try. But to go in that heavy and then turn around and sell nearly all of them off seems a little bit too much for me to stomach.
It’s about the content that they need to create to upkeep with their channel, more views to achieve, the buying, unboxing, holding for some time until the next collection if possible, selling at high cost, and the cycle repeats itself, and not to mention most recently it’s for the H game plan. I can’t even sort out a great review on you tube sometime for a handbag when some of them seems like it’s a rabbit hole of lies lol.

Like fashionablyamy is another example - she bought plenty of these micro bags and last week did a vlog sale and sold them ! Why buy and then sell ..?? Feel really stupid to follow these youtubers
Holy EFF what the heck happened?! I used to occasionally watch some of these YouTubers...took a break when their spending habits diverged from my preferences (but still seemed within healthy range)...and it's like within 1-1.5 years they just went bat$hit impulse-buying and reselling.

It cannot be good or fun for anyone to watch that kind of turnaround? It certainly isn't for me. Maybe what I sensed a bit over a year ago was an instinct that they were headed in a direction I wouldn't like. Retroactively when I look back, it coincides with any combination of Senreve, Lilysilk, and/or those cheap jewelry brands being shoved down our throats with promo codes. Senseless consumerism.
