Hi to all! I am new here and am trying to figure out the name for a beautiful Hermes scarf I just came upon stuffed in a bag of randoms at a thrift store today. It is a beautiful mosaic pattern of blue, white, and green. There is a goat, sheep, lion, and what appears to be a antelope on it along with some branches. I haven't been able to find anywhere to help me identify what it is called and what year it is from. Would appreciate any help any of you might have. It is 35X35. Thanks!

SophieB, I believe you are describing Pavements, by Maurice Tranchant, which was done originally in the 1970s and again in 2003

is this the colourway?

Would love to see pictures in the scarf thread!!
It lacks both title and signature...great find, SophieB!!

Thanks CobaltBlu- thats it! I saw it in the bag-of course I had no idea what it was I just thought it was beautiful! The thrift store had it stuffed in a bag of about 10 scarves for $1.99! When I got home I opened the bag and screamed!:yahoo: Thanks again for the info. I am in love!

I have to figure out how to shrink my pictures, they won't fit as they are now in this system.

Hi everybody, I am new to this Hermes scarves forum and have learned so many things from this thread ! Wow, this is a treasure for Hermes scarves lovers!

There are 2 Hermes scarves, 'Equateur' & 'Pavois' that were bought long time ago. It seems like they are less favoured than the other styles as I couldn't find my answers from this thread. Hope you could help me on these questions:

1. Are they reissued & which year?

2. What does 'A' mean on the caretag?

3. May be I didn't pay enough attention, the artist's name & copyright are nowhere to be found on 'Pavois'?

4. What is the background colour on 'Pavois' exactly?

5. I may want to sell to somebody who likes them more than me but have no idea how much they worth approximately?

Would be greatly appreciated for your help !

Hello everyone!

I recently purchased an Hermes scarf from a reputable source. I've spent about a week reading through the knowledgeable resource that is tpf  but still can't identify this scarf. It does not have the name of the design or the artist.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Mail Coach by Hugo Grygkar, 1953. Nice colorway, BTW.

Hi everyone,

My 21st is coming up and although I'll be getting LV, I'm considering a twilly instead of a LV bandeau... This would be my first Hermes purchase!

Is there anyone from Australia who can help me with current prices and stock availability? I'm a bit nervous going into the Hermes store :sweatdrop:

Any opinions on whether I should go to the Marina Mirage or Surfers Hermes store?

Also, anyone who has a LV bandeau AND a twilly who can give me opinions on the pros/cons?

Sorry about all the questions!

And thank you in advance for your help :)

I haven't actually been to the hermes store but a friend told me the Surfers store has more stock than the Marina one.
Last time I rang the Sydney store they did not have any new twillies in stock so I don't know about the GC store.
I have a couple of full size hermes scarves and I love them.
Good luck on your twilly quest.
