Anyone manage to snag one of the new RK40 bags? I love the orchid color, but alas, sold out. Reasonable price considering the shift to manufacturing in Italy. I'm willing to be more will be released, but at a higher price point later on.

I didn't buy one, in fact this is the first I've heard of the RK40 but judging from the pics the bags are beautiful with clean lines, which is what I love from RK. Glad to see him making bags in Italy again. If I recall, some of his first collection bags were made in Italy, and I have a made-in-Italy first-gen Fighter satchel.

I went to an RK monogramming event at Saks yesterday. The SAs in RK were really excited about the RK40. They were talking about how quickly the orchid and blue(I believe) sold out!

I carried my mini Atlantique.....still wearing well with no color transfer that I was so concerned with in the beginning.



They had Cacho Falcon there doing to custom monograms. Here is what mine looks like....so fun!



And on the RK clutch I will use it with.....



I think it will be interesting with my basic grey CLs

I am dying to see the RK40 in person! I would love to see the orchid back in the non-limited edition version.

I'd love to see the orchid back as well. It's a gorgeous shade.

I'm kind of sad though that he's retiring the Boxer though. I'm a structured bag kind of girl and it epitomizes my aesthetic. The RK40 is an equally stunning replacement and I realize it's time for a refresh, but the Boxer is the bag that I could see myself owning a half dozen of because it works for me that well.

I was surprised they were retiring the Boxer too! That's his signature bag.

There's a really pretty blue that I may try to pick up at the clearance sales this year.

I certainly hope so; however, I hope they don't stray too far from their initial pricepoints.

I'm also curious to see the interior. The site mentions that the bags are suede-lined, but I'd love to know what the pockets look like and the details.

I'd been wanting this bag for awhile, but was holding off until my other house sold. It's a departure from my normal style (grey, grey, black, grey lol), but I loved the print. I had to call customer service as it wasn't available on the website and they were wonderful. They tracked one down for me and here's my latest addition:
