From the swatch thread:

I think this is probably a dupe to Don’t Be Such a Sourpuss Gelish, Candyland Collection...

Looks pretty yellow in the bottle with shimmer, but looks very gold on the clear swatch.

For comparisons sake this is CopaCobanaBanana, The Perfect Pair, Orly Luxe

It's actually not same, shockingly enough! It appears to be unique to RCM, at least I am not aware of another yellow like that. I have them both, I will try to get a decent picture. The shimmer is different - in Sourpuss it's just that, a shimmery yellow/gold. The RCM one is more glitter-like

They didn't look the same to me on the brush, so ok, I'm a little relieved. Sourpuss looked kinda greenish to me, comparatively to Perfect Pair.

Just used My Inspiration. Bad, bad, bad.....words can't even begin the frustration I had using this. It was impossible to lay the color thin, near impossible to even get in onto my nail (for lack of a better term it just kind of repelled when I would start to polish). After doing about 3 nails the polish/brush would become tacky, so I had to keep wiping the brush. I actually got the heat sensation in my fingers during curing because the layers were thick. I don't think this mani will hold up for long at. Not sure if it's a bad bottle, bad formulation or bad brush but I'm taking this color back. Felt like a SOG failure today. Has anyone else had issues with the new colors?

Oh man, that stinks! I was planning on doing that tomorrow! I hope that maybe it was just a bad bottle because I didn't have any issues swatching it :( did you get it from Ulta? If so you should definitely return it!

Ok so I should have read your post and picked a different color but curiosity got to me... I decided to do my mani tonight in case I ran into trouble because I have a meeting Thursday morning and don't want to be up the entire night before. In any case, I'm glad I tried it today because I just got done soaking it off! It was terrible! Very weird color to work with. In some places I had shrinkage, some places it was thick and gloppy, other places streaky and in other spots thin and runny and then it wrinkled when I cured! Not just one nail, every nail wrinkled, that's never happened to me before. I can work with any of those obstacles on a given day and still come out with my nails looking good but not all of them together! Sucks because I really like the color but it will definitely be going back to ulta and I'll be trying dripping in luxury tomorrow instead. Thanks for posting this to warn others! At least yours came out nice in the end!

Love it! I received my foils last week and am dying to try them. Good job!

Thanks, I think I'm going to order more to try different looks. I was watching some Robin Moses videos last night and she has some amazing ideas and tips for using foil. Next time I am going to give some of them a try.

I was all set to finally buy the kit at Ulta and they were all sold out. I will be buying it at drugstore.com sometime today.

I'm mainly using this system to strengthen my natural nails so I can wear normal polish over it. What are the types of polishes to avoid putting over sog. Just the glittery types like nerd lacquer? Will normal glitter polish like zoya's work?

Thanks
