Regee,

Your manicure is not curing properly. I don't know what kind of light you are using, but it's not working correctly. Needs to be a UV lamp with 4 UV compact fluorescent bulbs (preferably Phillips brand bulbs) or the Red Carpet Manicure mini PRO light (not the battery operated one).

keep fingers flat under the light. thumbs separate for mini pro.

Your polish should not all be wiping off at the end.
I have the RCM Pro LED llight....IDK....I was really rushing! I thought it's better to roll fingers side to side?? Ok, I'll keep 'em flat & still.....

are you doing your thumbs separate too? Under the LED you gotta keep them flat and still. The LED light is more focused.

If I'm feeling particularly coordinated, I can do 5 fingers by doing 4 fingers on one hand and thumb from the other hand. All nice and flat under the light.

Cool!!
I do 4 fingers then thumb....

Okay better comparison pictures of a few of the new RCM colors.

Hi ladies I am super excited I stopped at my ulta today and they had 8 of the new colors and the 4 LE colors. I picked up 5 out of the 8 and none of the LE as they were mainly dupes for Gelish colors that I already had or didnt want. My thank you speech is definitly a dupe for Good gossip a glittery red color. It's a champagne night is a dupe for gelish allure, I cant believe it is kind of a dupe for gelish waterfield how ever I think the glitter looks like it gives fuller coverage than waterfield and last but not least Award winning looks like it could be a dupe for Reserve but may be a little bit more bronzy. Now onto the colors that I did get I picked up Tinsel Town,Wow!!,Simply Love your Nails,Dripping in Luxury and One of a kind. I am going to swatch these tonight and try and put them up today or tomorrow depending on the lighting and how true to color they look

So, I had to take off my 1st attempt at a manicure.....as I've posted, it was a HOT MESS!!! This is my 2nd mani. which turned out well, NOW if only it DOESN'T CHIP:cool:nailstb.png
I used RCM Structure & Brillance, and Gelish Tiger blossom (which I LUV:smile1:)

I don't know if I'm too extreme, but I was NOT able to get thin coats using the 'dry brush' method. I'm referring to when you wipe the brush off on both sides then polish nails. I DID wipe both sides of brush, but was only able to polish one nail. I think I'm wiping off MOST of the product....

Also ladies many will probably be happy to know but the changed the brush type with these new colors hey now have a more short stubby structured brush like the gelish brushes are possibly even a little shorter like the Gelish mini Candyland collection
Here is the displays at my ulta

I called my Ulta and they said they didn't think they had them in. I went in and didn't see them but now that I've seen some of you say they were hard to find I hope that I didnt miss them!!! I'm gonna go back next week to see if they are in yet. I know the Candyland collection at Sallys wasn't with their setup, so I should have searched more at Ulta!

At my ulta the displays forr the LE and new colors were directly under the shelves for the existing RCM colors

So, I had to take off my 1st attempt at a manicure.....as I've posted, it was a HOT MESS!!! This is my 2nd mani. which turned out well, NOW if only it DOESN'T CHIP:cool:View attachment 1634114

Tiger Blossom looks very nice on you.

This color looks super on you. I wanted to let you know that contrary to the whole push for thin thin thin, it is actually possible to put the polish on too thin. The top layer of every coat of polish that you apply, what is in contact with the oxygen in the air, will not cure. If you put the polish on so incredibly thin, you will not have enough polish under the “exposed to air layer” left to cure...hopefully that makes sense. There is a happy medium, I paint similar to what I would with regular polish, a fairly thin layer, but I more or less redip the brush each time to get just the right amount on the brush.

THANK YOU for posting these pics! I have been to three Ultas and none of them have the new colors. I had no idea what the display looked like, so I couldn't describe it to them. Now I know what to look for!!!!

Ummm, ok. Yes I'm referring to the light I use to see. It's a regular bulb, 60 or 75watt...

That shouldn't be it then.

You poor thing, I feel bad you're having so much trouble with the base. I wish I could sit next to you and help!! Just take your base brush, wipe one side once in a natural way, wipe the other side once in a natural way and then dab, dab, dab, dab, dab. You don't need to like squeegee it, if that makes sense. ;) Does that sound like what you're doing?

And I agree with everyone else - that color looks hot on you. And that time around looks like it went well.

PS I got worried maybe we're not all talking about the same thing: we're talking thin, thin, thin for your base coat and then like kandc88 said for your color coats. You can def re-dip for your color coats.

No problem I hope you can find them keep in mind though I went to my Ulta on sunday and they didnt have them up but I went in today and they were I also live only 30mins from there headquaters and there main warehouse/distrubution center. So it make take few says or a week longer to reach any place else other than the midwest. Also I recieved my new flyer in the mail that is good from March 11th to march 31st and noticed that nothing RCM was in the flyer like some have stated, but keep and eye out and check each isle I have sometimes seen them put displays in isles since they didnt have room for them on end caps.
