Okay Ladies I fanially swatched my 3 new RC colors. I put them with like colors so that you can have something to compare them too. After comparing from our swatch swap, AGC Avante Garde is an EXACT dupe for RC And the Winner Is.

Top to Bottom: Gelish Ooba Ooba Blue + GELeration Midnight Moonlight (sorry I thought I had grabbed just Midnight Moonlight), RC And the Winner Is, RC And the Winner is + Gelish Izzy Wizzy, Gelish Ooba Ooba Blue

Will post in the swatch thread also....

How long do you get out of a Gelly sandwich, if you don't mind sharing? I've got tons of nail polish colors that I miss wearing.

On my toes - 3-4 weeks...mainly I change because of grow out. My niece had most of hers on after 1.5 month!

Mani's - a couple of weeks. With the Gelly sandwhich you not only have more color options but you don't get the color fade or shades yellowing (Vegas Nights) with some of the Gel colors.

I just love the sparkle of Vegas Nights so lately I've been using over my colors (can't tell if it yellows that way) and then I add the top coat.

Thanks for asking - I love to share! :smile1:

I read somewhere in one of our threads (It's so hard to keep track), that Glitterazzi is a dupe for Gelish Champagne. Can anyone confirm?

Just from looking at it in the store I think it is a dupe. I can't swatch side by side because I didn't get it. It looked too close. I haven't taken my swatches to the store yet.

Aha! I will ask then :)
Could you please describe the process with curing times? I have an...ummm extensive collection of regular polish; and I would love to keep using them.

1) apply thin layer of base coat - cure 30 sec (using LED)
2) apply thin layer of reg. nail polish - let it dry (I don't really time it just eye ball it)
3) apply 2nd layer of reg. nail polish - let that dry.
4) apply Vegas Nights (optional) - cure 60 sec (using LED)
5) apply top coat - cure 60 sec (using LED)

*cure times will be longer if you use a UV light - I don't know the timings for the UV lights since I don't have one - but I would imagine you don't need to double the times like I do. My LED light has 3 settings 30, 60, 90 seconds. When I say I do a 60 sec - I just do 2 cycles of 30 seconds.

Hope this helps!

Just curious is there a reason you double your times? I have a LED and UV light and I find myself adding more time with the led light since I feel like it's not cured enough! haha I know it probably is but I just switched to a LED light and did my first mani. I've been using the UV light for 8 months or so and takes forever compared to the LED light
