I carry handheld bags now and wish these bags were in my closet. I miss the days when these bags were $1000 (Quattro) to $3000 (Rejane). I bought my Limousine for $1700. All were hand sewn, hand painted and perfect.I miss the parquet macarons, too.
My collection of macarons. All except the ox were made while Ramesh was still at Moynat. I hope Moynat continues making the annual Chinese zodiac sign macarons.Anyone besides me missing the old Ramesh designs? Simplistic, beautiful, user-friendly and well made.

It pains me to think future Chinese zodiac macarons will be stamped, not parquet artistry. My collection of macarons. All except the ox were made while Ramesh was still at Moynat. I hope Moynat continues making the annual Chinese zodiac sign macarons.

Confirmed ?It pains me to think future Chinese zodiac macarons will be stamped, not parquet artistry.
I have no intel at this point. If I hear anything, I’ll pass it on. If anyone else hears anything, please do the same.Confirmed ?
Moynat recently added Ramesh era style parquet accessories to their line. At this point, store management doesn’t have ‘Paris‘ confirmation parquet charms are in our near future, but it looks promising. We’ll (hopefully) know more late next month.Confirmed ?
This collaboration would be divine!I recently saw Peter Nitz post about marquetry on his IG page. This would (probably) never happen, but could you imagine a Ramesh x Peter Nitz collaboration?! Even if it was just for one design, something along the lines of the Marie Louise (Old Moynat). I still drool over that Art Deco clasp.
Maybe if we all think about it hard enough, it will manifest

Hmmm. I am awaiting my Nitz Dream bag, which I most definitely ordered because I loved the design. Are you suggesting he isn’t a designer because he offers a very limited choice of bag models?agreed. I absolutely adore PN and I continue to be impressed by him, but he seriously needs a designer![]()
Exactly. I feel like he needs to offer more options than the Dream Bag. In my head, the Dream Bag is analogous to the Birkin and so he needs something that is sort of an alternative to the Kelly. Something that's less casual and more feminine, and could transition to an evening bag for smaller models.Hmmm.
