I actually purchased my silver python Ricky for Luxury Exchange. The bag came with all the tags and the most important proof of purchase card. The card looks like a credit card with a printed number on the back. I actually took it to a RL store in Vegas and they authenticated it for me. The folks at LE were great and i could have returned it if I was not happy.

I've never understood why Ralph Lauren bags aren't more popular. The quality of leather and craftsmanship is really quite good. They look better and better as they age.
Thank you so much for starting this thead. I joined TPF back in 2008 just to learn more about the Ricky Bag. I saw a print ad of a alligator Ricky and it took my breath away. Fast forward 5 years and more disposable income I was able to purchase my first Ricky and I totally love this bag, we all know how we feel about our first Designer/luxury bag. Fast forward 8 more months when I realized that the python Ricky was not a very practical bag for everyday use, so what's a girl to do? Purchase another Ricky! This time black patent with silver hardware. I would be so honored to join this thread. And yes Charleston-Mom, I believe that back in 2008 you had the only Ricky bag posting, so thank you!!!

I do agree for me I would love to go shell out $2500.00 for a new soft Ricky especially in the CYAN color but I can't so I will have to keep cyber stalking until I find one that has been lightly used!!! My dream Ricky is my avatar but that is way outta my price range at the moment!!! But a girl can dream can't she!!!!!

So the silver python bag's official descripton is: The Western Ricky 33 Python Silver. I belive the western Ricky was released in 2008. This bag was purchased at a Ralph Lauren Store in Hertfordshire, England. The only other color in the Western style that I have seen is this one in brown leather.

I was bad. It's not technically a Ricky, but it has the straps coming through just like the Ricky and is a collection bag. I bought it in the "slate," but it comes in a gorgeous red, and a beautiful lime green too. I shouldn't have done it - but wow.

Sorry to put pictures in two posts. This bag actually reminds me a lot of my Ricky bags too. I love their collection bags. The quality on the grommet tote is utterly amazing. Only $750 before taxes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's hundreds of dollars off. Probably a little lighter than my Rickys, which is always nice too.
