The second picture (the purple one) I I just bought my daughter for her birthday! The third and fourth picture are of a calfskin Ricky (smaller-limited edition size) with gold hardware that I bought when i didn't want something quite so heavy - LOL!

Hi!

I know this is an older post, but I'm shopping and wanted to know if your smaller Ricky is the 27 size?
If so, is it roomy? I am not very close to a boutique? Thank you!!

The 33 is roomier than the 27 of course, you might find it bulky, it depends whether you like big bags or not .
The 27 dimensions are
28/21/16
which means it is rather deep.( a good thing!)
Try to take a tape and draw the two sizes you are interested in on paper for comparison.
I saw you asked charlestonmom a question and she will answer you more precisely.
As for the detachable strap, I have never seen it.
Take your time, try to gather as much info as you can, even send email to the store to ask your questions. It's an expensive bag...you need to be sure...❤️

I have a 33 and I have only used the strap once. It's a nice option to have, in an emergency (if you consider handbag-related arm fatigue a true emergency [emoji6]) but in my opinion the large base on the bag makes it awkward for carrying cross body. The strap is narrow with an adjustable belt-style detail. Not sure about the 27, I looked at these in the store, but the size was not right for my needs. Best of luck with your decision!

Thank you for replying! Oh.... I want that Ricky!! It looks so nice and classy with just a bit of edge. Was looking at the 27, but am not sure. Would rather have a bit more room than not enough ( I have small children and still need to carry some "kid" stuff). Was also considering the Tiffin, but it does not draw me in like the Ricky...:smile:

Hi Xiaoxiao! My Ricky is the gold color so not extremely light. However, I can say that I wear it with dark jeans each Friday for casual work dress, and I have had zero color transfer issues. I'm rather pleased and surprised all at the same time. I hope this helps you. Your potential purchase is absolutely beautiful!! Oops...double post. Sorry about that!

Hi Xiaoxiao! My Ricky is the gold color so not extremely light. However, I can say that I wear it with dark jeans each Friday for casual work dress, and I have had zero color transfer issues. I'm rather pleased and surprised all at the same time. I hope this helps you. Your potential purchase is absolutely beautiful!!
