I have noticed with my last few shipments to Fashionphile that they have recently upped their east coast based facility in NY. I used to have to ship my bags from DC to CA and it would take a long time to intake, authenticate, and then get paid. Now, my shipments go to NY and get there within a day and it usually takes about 4 days for everything and then to get the money in my account now. Definitely stepping things up it seems.

Agreed! I was (happily) surprised when I saw items I sent them got to NJ (from Boston) in a day. Then they took 3 days to verify. 4th day the money was in my bank account. SO much faster for us east-coast residers, really appreciate FP realizing the whole world doesn't live on the west coast haha, and doing something about it.

I also bought something from FP, and it seems like it shipped from CA to NJ, and then it shipped from NJ -> Boston. Could have been 2 days faster than usual, if I remember correctly.

My 2019 grey mini rectangular flap was quoted $3800, but they are selling for $5000 ish on the website. btw I am new to the forum. Is it allowed to resale bags here?
I want to sell the mini flap.

A max profit of $1200 for them isn’t huge for them. Lots of times the mark up is much larger. You could wait and resubmit but if it’s in used condition and lambskin that quote sounds good. It doesn’t mean they’ll actually get $5000 they may have to mark it down plus they have overhead expenses. Basically I’m telling you that offer isn’t bad! it is worth a try to resubmit in 30 days and after the price increase.

Thanks for your insight. It makes sense. My initial thoughts were I’d rather selling it directly to someone for 4K than letting a third party to make 1k so it’s a win-win for both the buyer and me. However, I guess a notable reseller does deserve some credit if it saves me a lot of time and troubles.
i will definitely resubmit again.
