I've seen the Nikki from this resort collection and it had the same yellow undertones. As others have mentioned, it's supposed to be a "vintage" effect.

I wanted to let you know that Rebecca actually picked that leather on purpose. The yellow leather is on purpose and is intented to wear and fade over time.
It's a very cool looking bag none the less!
