BTW, I think the one you have is a beauty and a good price. I don't think you could do better for the money. I'd jump on it. Just my 2 cents.

Silver Mom, I tried collecting more images but my computer is soooo slow now. I'll do in the morning. I think you've got a rare true blue bangle without any secondary colors such as green or violet, and it's fantastic for the money. I bet it would become more translucent too. If you bought it, you would have a bangle to be proud of! It is a big chunk of money for almost everyone these days, but it is at this price range that you can get very nice quality, and that one's color is so rare. I'll be honest, I'm a little jealous, but also will be very happy you made such a fantastic choice if you get it.

Thank you clairejune. I was so conflicted. There are green veins in it though and I am hoping that it does not grow and ruin the look of the blue. Do you think that could happen? I will go ahead and get it then. The person might give me an additional discount which would make it even better. If you have time tomorrow please post pictures of the blue bangles. Thanks sooooooo much.

clairejune, sometimes when I look at it though it does have a violet tinge. I guess it would be so hard to get a completely blue one yeah? I am really curious to see what a truly truly blue one looks like so if you should find one, please post the picture. Thank you so much for your very kind patience. I appreciate all your efforts.

Silver Mom, I'll definitely do it in the morning. I think a few green veins would be GORGEOUS, and I don't think they would spread radically. The totality of the bangle is unquestionably blue. So, your going to get it? I think you have done an amazing job finding one which you would probably never find a similar one again. I am soooooo happy for you! How wonderful! That's a total heirloom piece.

Personally, I love a slight violet tinge. As a color, it brings a slight zing and energy into blue tones. Yours must be very slight, because it is very subtle. It's a sophisticated, mysterious color, yours to be.

I will definitely buy it now. I looked all over and couldn't find a bluer one. Hope it stays this color forever. Of course if it gets more translucent I won't be disappointed. My jeweler had one more blue one but it was cut way thicker. Wish you could fly down here if you were interested in it. My jeweler sells lots of jades and she is an awesome person. If you need any more jades let me know and I will give you her phone number. I also bought my golden yellow one from her too. I really love that one. The color is so bright and beautiful.

I don't know if there is any pure blue jadeite. I have seen blue with secondary colors mainly of either violet or green in differing strengths. The one you have is definitely one of the purest blues I've seen. Maybe in the VERY expensive range, but I haven't seen any more blue than yours. Blue also has many shades, and so it can be confusing to pick out what secondary color(s) there may be mixed with the particular shade of blue. Like, some blues have a small amount of violet which creates that shade of blue. It might be a warm or cool blue depending. It's like that when buying blue oil paints as an example.

What a cool offer! I was just thinking that I'd love to meet your jeweler and see your bangle, and meet you! I wish I could go on jewelry shopping trips with other passionate people. Unfortunately, my 4 kids have me very busy since two are 3 and under! I'd love to get her info though! ....And hope for the future.

Silver Mom, this bangle looks very nice and watery. Is that the actual color of the bangle, bluish?...can you put it on your wrist and put it next to it ... The price seems decent enough, esp. nowadays they cost so much....

It must be nice to be able to bring it home and then decide on rather to get it or not...good luck!:p
