I use mine mainly for my Sabrina. I don't trust people with it and i don't use the long handle much 
They do come in handy. I got mine from someone on the bay for 3.99 plus 4 shipping. Mine is a little heart and the hook wraps around it. I love that it's not just a hook hanging out in your bag.

Does anyone actually own or use one of these things http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Purse-Handbag-Hangers-Pouches/dp/B001W9CC22 that you hang on the table or chair...The more i go out to restaurants and such I think I need one...what ones do you own? if any at all.

Thanks ladies. I never knew how these worked. I ordered mine from shoebuy.com on 8-2 and they were just delivered about 5 minutes ago. I ordered the clipa cloe and katie. I would n't put a bag on the floor ever, or not in the baby butt sitting e coli contaminated front of a shopping cart, nothing goes there, gross. Or a bathroom floor? yikes. The hooks are very practical, but I have not used one, cause they seem odd. Don't the purses look funny dangling there? Am I goofy? good thread, more opinions please
That is why I ordered the Clipa, it can attach to a shopping cart and your bag is right in front of you..This certain 1 that I'am waiting for, can be worn as a bracelet, go in your bag, or hang on your the strap of your bag!I will Not Ever put my bag on a floor..Only at home, on My carpet, but it has it's own spot,lol...I got one to match the hw on my tote, they have many color's

I got one during one of those Macy's F&F sales and I love having a purse hook. I haven't had many opportunities to use it, but it's a nifty thing to have. Most of the time there's a seat next to me where I can plant my purse. But when you're at a full table or there's no extra chair in sight, a purse hook definitely comes in handy.

I usually do not need a purse hanger as we almost always have an extra chair, but this is for those few occasions where we don't. And like a pp mentioned I hate trying to hold it up with my ankles off the floor.
