I just bought one yesterday!! How funny is that?!? I can't stand to put my purse on the floor and so far, it's working great. I got mine for around $10 at Target. 
^As have I gotten mine there, but I find if you have a heavy bag over time it bends the metal slowly and they don't work as well. I think I'm going to fork over 20$ and get one of those CLIPA ones instead...
I have one and forgot it the other day when I went into the city. I was with a group of friends having dinner and the restaurant was packed. We were squeezed in like sardines at the table. There was no place to put my bag and believe me, it wasn't going on the floor. I actually had to keep the bag kinda squeezed between my legs, resting on my ankles. After a while, my legs were cramping but that's the sacrifice you make for your bags, right? I won't make that mistake again!
Hello Dawn!! I used to have a purse hook that was metal and folded up really nice. Well it lasted quite some time and then gave out. I ended up taking the plunge and purchased the clipa. I love it!!!! You can use it on purses that have thicker handles as well as thin. I have a code that give you 10% off. Please PM me if you'd like it.

It's real strong and don't bend. I don't recommend anything thinner than that cause ya never know what bag you may end up buying. Also, I don't recommend the ones that fold. I have found that they are not as strong. IMHO.
My BIL gave me mine and I do not know what I did with it.. At the time I thought it was dumb Idea but now I so want to find it...

Yes i have the one the folds up around itself in a circle. It is really pretty turquoise on top and i got it from Amazon.com! They really do come in handy especially at the food court in the mall.
Thanks to Coachadd1ct, I just ordered my Clipa Purse Hanger..I got the Polished Silver to go with the hardware on my Glam Tote, and at a great price..Now no worries, no matter where I'am because it just stays on your bag, or as a bracelet...Thank's again
