Purse Hooks / Hangers

That's the one I use also. My main bag's LV. I've tried other purse hooks. They all have "issues." If they're made in China, forget it. The quality's not there. Most have a foul smelling black rubber backing that can leave a streak on tables. Mine are clear, looks great. It's very well made. There's another thread about buying American products. I completely support that.

Add me to the list I don't go anywhere without my Clipa. It is the best one I've used too. So modern. There's a video on YouTube of it holding a ton of stuff. The Hookup doesn't look like it would hold much but I am curious about it. It looks very modern too. I used to have the kind that goes in your purse but it tore the lining of my bag.

I have a bag hanger from Hamburg designer Jan Philippi.

i had just seen the clippa in a key shop last week..the lady kept urging me to buy one, but when i tried it on their counter it didn't seem to hold, maybe i wasn't using it properly.

i like the way they look.

My DH and I went out for dinner tonight and it was very crowded and we were sitting at a 2-person table with no place for my purse. I was very happy to pull out the purse hook and use it to safely store my beloved bag out of harm's reach!

It's much easier for them to snatch it off the chair next to you. Or the back of your chair.

i don't hang it in those places either! it's in my lap if no room beside me.
i would never ever put it on the floor :faint: - not even at home! i think they are just something else they want to talk us women into buying that we "need" that we don't!

Ditto
It has a time and a place and when you need it.... it is invaluable:yahoo:

In the U.S., you can buy direct on their site and shipping's little over three bucks. I've also seen them on Ebags and many other sites. My sister also saw them at Dillard's. We are both so happy with ours.

Hi everyone,

so, a lot of my bags have rolled handles. I find that most regular purse hooks or hangers will leave an impression on the handles because the hooks are so thin, and all the weight is concentrated on one spot. Does anyone know of a hanger that has a flat or softer hook and doesn't do this? Thanks in advance!
