Purse Hooks / Hangers

today my teacher actually whipped out her purse hook and showed it to the class (she was telling a story that involved her going through security and having to take that hook out of her bag blah blah blah) and every single student laughed at it...it definitely made me never want to buy a purse hook.

I go out alot to eat and the purse hook really rocks... Esp because normally I go out in a big group and there not extra chairs.

I also have a 5 yr old and I go to a lot of kids places and there it is perfect...

I went to their site but didn't see which model has pads on both sides? Do you know if they are going to offer to replace the defective ones for people like my friend? She is afraid to use it again anywhere near a white tablecloth and it is way too big to put in her purse.

I have the Clipa and it is heavy and not too nice as a bracelet, but a great purse hook - takes a lot of weight and hangs in so many different situations.
I don't like hearts - too girly for me! so the FUMI is not really for me, but looks like it would be great for girls that like hearts, as it is much more decorative.

I had started using my Clipa to hang my bag from the shopping cart handle so I can put eggs and bread in the little child seat, and I have to admit it felt a little weird at first, but the other day I was at the supermarket and I saw a guy putting MEAT in the child seat! So now I don't care how strange it looks, I never put my purse in the child seat anymore. I always hang it!

Eww, not to mention if one of the previous occupants had a leak. I always wipe the whole seat area along and the handle bar with the sanitary wipes that our stores provide.

Those child seat blanket covers I have seen some mothers use for their baby might not be a bad idea for "bag babies" too. ;) lol

I used my hook this weekend for the first when we went out to dinner and were seated at a table for two. Worked great!

Coincidentially, there was a couple seated next to us at another table for two and the lady had a nice Coach purse. She had to move her purse around and finally had to put it on the small table. Bet she could have used a purse hook....:D

There are two types of purse hooks on the market - those you can wear on the outside and those you have to dig out from inside your purse. I like to wear mine on the outside so it's easy to get to and makes a nice accessory. I love the way The Hookup looks on all my bags and is still my favorite. Fumi is better than most others out there and I think it works great but the style doesn't mach my bags. Lux Link is good for small bags but I find it clumsy to use. There are some pics of my Platinum Hookup compared to Clipa in this thread for those who missed it before here
