I bought the first ones (on the left) from that bed bath and beyond website... the $9.99 or whatever buys you a gold one and a silver one. I haven't actually used them yet but now I have them!

My student bought me one as part of a Christmas gift this year - it was one of the best gifts ever! He was totally shocked when I actually used it on a field trip and that his classmates thought it was the coolest thing ever.

It does hold well. and I've put different sized/ varying heaviness bags on them - sometimes they don't hang neatly by the handle(s), but there are ways to make it work if it doesn't.

My DD got me one for Christmas from Nordstrom. It's beautiful with a 3D enamel black/white flower on top. It holds all my bags, evey the very heavy ones. My Mom found a "less expensive" one at the local Hallmark, but it didn't work as well (it does work well for my DDs coach pouch). So, I gave her one for Valentine's day!
Here's a few reference pics.

Oh my gosh yours is GORGEOUS!!! Lucky you!

I have the one that folds up into a circle, I got it at Greetings and Readings. It has a cute handbag picture on the part that stays on the table. Works very well. The way it works is that the weight of the handbag holds the disc or whatever on the tabletop securely.

Today my husband and I were having lunch at a local deli, and a family was eating at the table near us. I couldn't believe it, but the woman had a very nice leather duffle type bag (not Coach), and she put it on the floor under her chair. This is a local sandwich shop, not fancy but nice. The floor isn't carpeted, just tile, and sees a lot of action. Her bag looked expensive, good quality leather and was a light camel. In keeping with this thread's topic, my first thought was that she could use a purse hook!
