i was browsing the handbags and purse section and i saw a thread about purse hooks.....never seen nor heard of them before! so im curious to know how many of you here use a purse hook for your bbags? i just purchased my first bbag (a truffle work RH, arriving in a couple of days :yahoo:) and i am seriously thinking of getting one of these purse hooks for it... i think im going insane over these bbags!!!

Um, I don't use it because my bag can be pretty heavy. I'm afraid the metal stem will snap!

Purse hook is a good idea if you don't want to put your bag on the floor or behind your back where people might just grab it and run away without you noticing it.

I WANT ONE TOOOOOOO...
I think its the cooles thing cause I get crazy in restaurants or bars searching for a "bag chair".But I cant find one in Austria:(
SO it's ebay again I'm afraid..I saw really cool ones on the internet with little figures or rhinestones on em..*sigh*

so, anyone interested in having a hook that rotates as well so that purse will hang perpendicular to the table allowing more rooms for chairs??

I don't have them to sell - but I have some connections and might look into manufacturing them. I would love some feedback and possibly give away some free ones if enough ppl end up responding, and I go ahead w/ the project.

Please let me know if you need more info.

firstclass1....cant wait to see your pics!!!

Oulaliscious....yep, there are times when there will be no available chair for our handbags, thats why i think i should get a purse hook for those situations.....cant let that bbag sit on the floor!

I don't...I can't (I just feel like it would be a bit too pretentious...). but I really, really want to get over myself because I either use an extra chair, or sit with it in my lap, terrified of the upcoming inevitable carnage! I know people who actually ASK for an extra chair for their bag.

Bottom line, I WANT to, but just CAN'T.

I'm a deeply conflicted bag owner. :weird:

I use one..and have bought them for all the women in my family. Whenever I use it (usually in a restaurant), I get compliments from waitresses and other patrons.

There is a great seller on eBay whose pursehooks can hold up to 20 pounds. It can even hold my super stuffed, super heavy Work and Weekender bags. ;)
