Purse Hooks / Hangers

After a waiter accidentally poured greasy sauce on my LV on TWO separate occasions and at the same resto (I kid you not!), I decided it was best for me to use a purse hook.

Never thought it was weird or tacky, but if it were, I really couldn't care less. I'm all about functionality and comfort. :) My MIL gave me a nice blingy one and I love it! :)

Lol... This post reminded me of my first experience at a restaurant with two of my girlfriends when I pulled it out, they were like "What is that?" When I explained they laughed, and commented on how I must be really bored of things to buy :( but I didn't care, they can place their bags where ever they like, mine will be hanging from her purse hook dirt free & looking great! lol...

that's exactly how I feel about it!

If I'm going out for a meal it would most likely be dinner, and I'd normally be carrying a clutch so no pursehook required. Although dealing with a clutch at the table is also a pita, more manageable but still awkward enough. I have got a pursehook though, but I've never used it.

I have a purse hook and have tried to use it several times but there is always a road block, such as the table is too thick for the hook or there is no space for me to hang it from. I like my purse hook and will try again.

This sounds like the standard purse hook that are a dime a dozen and don't work so much of the time. You need a Clipa - they are the best ever. And no, I'm not affiliated with them - just know and use them happily. They. Just. Work. I've got one in silver and gold.

I received the Clipa today. It is in a different class compared to other purse hooks. It is very substantial. I am impressed. Thanks again.

I don't see it used very often in my area so i think i may feel self conscious using it. I usually place the bag on my lap or on the table, at the very side. My bags are usually quite small so it's not a big issue for me.
